Firstly, I just want to say a massive THANKS! to savage for my excellent prize from the easter competition. It is fantastic!

Secondly, I want to let everyone know that Savage's competitions are well worth entering. It took me five minutes to enter, and for that I got a mixed selection of rare tv shows, episodes, and movies. The real treat though was the basket full of American Candy, which is a rarity over here.

We both agreed that because I live in the UK, it would be really awkward to send the several retail VHS' that were in included in the prize, so I would just have to settle for less, right?........Wrong!...She through in even more DVDs!

So thanks a million Savage, can't wait till the next one!

On the down side though, my teeth are gona suffer, I've now had my first ever taste of marshmallow peeps, and I'm hooked!

Cheers,

Jie

Soooo glad it got there safe and sound.

Yeha those peeps are addictive- I suspect we'll have to do a PEEP Halloween Contest, since the Pumpkins are my personal favorites..

Then again there are the X-mas Gingerbread men peeps..
Or the Valentine Hearts.

I hope i have a stash here-

Glad to have sent you a prize worth having, and I hope I don't start a UK VS US Candy war lol

I have another contest brewing, so keep your lcuky rabbits feet out :)

Savage you are the best

I just got my basket in last night it was awesome! The candies are too good and I hold you responsible for the 5 lbs I will gain from 1lb of candy.

The discs from our trade were also included and of course everything I expected.

Thanks for a great contest and another great trade.

Cheers
Jay

BTW to weigh in on the UK vs US candy wars, the UK candies are pretty damn good but I gotta say anytime I head south of the 49th paralell I stock up on the best junk food and sugar coated cereal on the planet. Good thing I only head down once every year or two.

Admittedly, the candy here is damn tasty, epecially doubler deckers and toffee crisps (my favs). Not many people realise that even though the US and the UK have many of the same types of candy - Mars, Snickers, M&Ms for example, they taste totally different. Brits/Scots and Americans have different tastes and the candy companies respond to this by changing the ingredients for each country (just a useless bit of info).

Oh, and here, we don't use the word candy, we call it sweeties or 'a bit a choclit'

Thanks again Savage
