I swear, u would say the exact same thing if u were her sister!!

You can't ask for a worse sister! I'm not gonna list all the thing she does to me (cause I'd be going on for eternity), but lemme just tell u one thing her and her f*cking ugly friends just did to me.

Well, u know how my mom's WAY to overprotective, right?? Well, my mom had to leave real quick while Audree's 2 of Audree's friends were over and my mom made me watch them. Then as soon as she left, I was standing there like a statue, and then Audree and her friends starting giggling. Then someone said something and u know I'm kinda deaf? Well, I said "What?" and then they all cracked up so hard! WHY DO PEOPLE MAKE FUN OF THE DEAF??? And why is Audree such a b*tch to me, especially when her friends are around!!! Then Audree was like "Um, you don't have to watch us like we're babies!". Then her friends were like "Yeah!!!". Then Audree told me to go upstairs and leave them alone.
God, I hope she f*cking ROTTS IN HELL!!!! pissed:

That's normal sibling rivalry. It used to bother me when my brother and his friends whispered and snickered about me, but I'm over it. They just do it to aggrevate you, that's all. Dont worry about it.

Yeah, but it's also because I have a disability.

I have a friend, Gracie, from my church who's in 6th grade and has an older sister with a lot of disablities and Gracie is always looking out for her and when people try to make fun of her sister, she never joins in! I wish my sister were like Gracie! :(

My (younger and only) brother doesnt let other people pick on me, or even give me dirty looks. He's very protective of me. The way he is is, he's the only one that can pick on me, but no one else can, or he defends me. You would think your sister would be protective of you, but how old is she? Maybe she just needs to mature a little.

You're lucky!

My sister is 10, but Gracie just turned 11 a few months ago, and she still is protective over her sister.

Kids tend to be more concerned about what their friends think of them then what their family thinks of them. It is really just a childhood phase. As your sister grows up she will develop more respect for you. After all, you will always be a part of her life where as friends come and go.

My siblings made fun of me ALL the time. My teeth, my nose, my hair, I wasn't good in school, just about everything you can imagine. I would try to talk to my mom about it and she just told me to stop complaining and ignore it. Ignoring it never works. It hurt me a lot and affects me to this day so I know how you feel. They were all older than me though and I couldn't defend myself. If I said something back to them I would get punched. Being that you are older than your sister why don't you just go smack her in the head or something, maybe she'll get the message and leave you alone next time. Or next time she needs a favor from you, like help with homework or whatever, don't do it. If she's not going to treat you right and respect you, don't give it back to her. It's sad that your parents don't seem to be concerned about your feelings and I don't intend to sound mean but I do understand the frustration. It's tough being a kid sometimes. I know.
If I have anymore kids I will never allow that stuff to go on. I know the kids will have disagreements but I will never put up with them making fun of each others looks or disabilities. Parents don't always realize the long term effects stuff like that can have.

Most kids Audree's age have no concept of the fact that a disability doesn't make you a freak. They just think because you're different, that they can make fun of you. Half of them grow out of that when they get older and mature, 25% are forced to learn it the hard way (like becoming deaf themselves for instance), and 25% never grow up. Those people are often in jail.

Your parent's really need to sit her down and give her a little adult lesson on people who are "different." I mean, how would she feel, ya know, if she was the deaf one and you were laughing at her? She probably has no concept of that at all. So your parents need to teach her that.

I can definitely feel for you. I am the oldest of two and used to hate my sister. I am on the heavy side. She has always been skinny. She has perfect hair and skin. When we were growing up she used to pick on me something terrible. My mom was no help. Everything she did was ignored, but if I ever stood up for myself then I was the one that got into trouble.

I'll never forget the one time I let her have it. I punched her in the back because she had been making fun of me on the bus! Boy, it felt good! I got into serious trouble when we got home from the bus stop, but it still felt really, really good!! I am not condoning violence, I just know how you feel. My sister and I are good friends most of the time. Although I try not to deal with her much these days. She only calls me when she wants something and is very jealous of anything I do!!

I'm sorry you feel that way. Kids can be so cruel. Escspecially sisters and brothers to each other. My sister was so cruel to me when I was growing up-I was the youngest-but unfortunatley we can't pick our families! Hang in there and don't be so down on yourself. I'm sure you are a good person.:)

Just try to laugh it off when she does that. My mom makes fun of my disability ALL the time, and I just laugh about it. It's just the kind of relationship we have. Maybe you could try forging that kind of relationship with your sister?
