I've seen at least 2 versions of this bit, one from the American Scene Magazine show in B&W, with Jackie explaining all sorts of vaudeville-type bits of comedy, ending with a pie throwing demo. It ends with the June Taylor dancers covering him with pies, and the heavy set woman who worked in alot of the sketches dumping a huge pie on his head. The color version must be from the post 1966 years, and Jane Kean has the honor of the final huge pie. Question is did he ever perform this during his original run in the 1950's?

My guess is he probably did. He had no problem repeating bits over the years.
