I could do with a bit of advice regarding trading DVD-r for VHS. I've never traded for vhs before because NTSC isn't compatible with British VCRs. My new player is compatible though, and I'll be trading someone for vhs soon. Problem is that I don't know what is considered fair with that kind of swap. Is it usually 1 dvd for 1 vhs, or does it depend on hours, or episodes, or etc..?

I would be greatful for any advice.

With VHS you have to factor in, 1- it weighs more and costs more to ship.

How much is on it?
What speed, and quality?

How rare are the items.

DVD is more covnieneint at times, but can be more reliable at others.

For me, if I am shipping in the US to a US address, ill trade 2 vhs per 1 disc, regardless of whats on it.

But if its UK I bargain a little more, cuz its expensive :)

But most honestly, if I am done with the vhs, I am glad to get the space back- and get something different and more easily watchable or burnable

So almost always unless its realyl rare
I trade more vhs OUT then I get in-

But everyone is different, so always bargain before- and factor in

Quality
Cost to ship
Hours
Rarity

And if your getting dvd in, remember its cheaper to copy and ship dvd- and usually easier to cue/and mark
