My all time favorite soap that i follow constantly is General Hospital. Been watching for five years!! I tend to watch One Life to Live because it's on before GH and I don't have anything to do at that time (really bad excuse). Started to pay more attention to Days which I started watching about 7-8 years ago when Jack and Jennifer came back. Used to watch Another World before it got cancelled. When your classes just happen to fall opposite of your soap schedule you watch them, but I have stopped recording them when I can't watch during the day!!

Ryan's Hope was always the best! I like General Hospitle and Pasions too.

My favorite soaps are only channel 7 ones All My Children, One Life To Live and General Hospital. My most favorite one is General Hospital though. I have been watching those for a very long time.

I think that I can safely safely say that BlairW_1's (she's grounded off the computer!!! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif ) and my fav soap is Guiding Light!! That's where I got an idea for a fanfic. Of course... it wouold be considered "controversial".

I like all these GH fans and all you GL fans we would really want the Labines back as headwriters! They were writing GH when I started watching and it's been downhill ever since. It's looking like Megan McTavish (currently at OLTL) is coming and I'm not happy. She's going to decimate GH even more if thats possible. The only good thing is the Cassadines are finally going to get a story (love Alexis played by Nancy Lee Grahn) and the Sonny and Carly hour may be reduced.

I like GL, but it needs history, older characters, and less San Cristobel! I mean, HELLO! The Labines need to kick some sense into Paul Rauch (he's the EP) he totally ruined the show the MINUTE he came on. Okay, okay, the show's still kinda good, (Brittany Snow is very talented, she's Susan Lemay) but still, the show needs more (Springfield, that is!)

My favorite of all time would have to be Ryan's Hope. I remember my mother watching RH and All My Childeren when I was a kid. I watched GH for a while but now find it totally unwatchable. I don't really follow any soaps religiously now but will tune into Soapnet every once in a while to catch an old Ryan's Hope episode.

I watch a couple of soaps, but I have an attraction towards Passions. Sure, the storylines may move slow at times(the engagement party lasted almost a month!), but it is so different than the others. Where else would you find a talking doll as great as Timmy?

Now THAT was quality television!! The plots were realistic, the actors were excellent, and the storyline was believable!!

I don't really like it any more. I used to like it when Vivian and Evan were on, I liked when Jennifer and Jack were together, I liked when Kristen was scheming, I liked Lisa Renna as Billi and Roberto Kelly <HOTTIE> as Bo. But, alot of the storylines are getting old, and it takes forever to get something done. Things can go on for weeks and nothing will change at all. I definately thing better writers are needed.

I watch B&B after school at 3:30 (I have DIRECTV, so I watch it on the west channel, where it's 12:30 there) and I occassionally watch Guiding Light at 5:00 (2:00 on west coast). I used to watch Days, but in the east channel it's on at 1:00 (school time) and I don't watch it at 4:00 EST on the west channel (usually homework) so that's how it works for me!

I'm in college and my classes are all in the morning, the latest I'm finished is 12:15 so I can watch soaps in the afternoon. Plus, if I do miss them during the day which does happen (sleeping, crew practice) I can watch them on soapnet at night.

Yes!!! I've watched GH fairly regularly since 95 and I am not looking foward to JFP at GH. Her track record of bringing in her FOJs and with McTrash's pen it's going to be awful. I love the Cassadines and they are being destroyed. NLG and SN deserve so much more. The only thing I'm liking is that Sonny is no longer being portrayed as the good mob leader and it looks like the Sonny and Carly hour is being reduced. I've been watching AMC lately because of Anna and Robin will be appearing in May. Also heard a rumor that Tristan Rogers may be in talks to return to GH. I almost don't want them at GH because of the current regime.

Just love Bold and the beautiful. It is a great soap. I am homeschooling and it comes on at 1:30PM so i can watch it.

Well I can tell you about Charity and the show now a days. Timmy died and his heart went to Charity. She was frozen in a block of ice for too long and her heart wasn't any good thats why she needed another heart. Whitney, Sheridan, Tabitha, and Kay are pregnant. TC ends up in bed with Liz. Tabitha got her powers back. There is a crazy nut case doll name Cracked Connie running around with a scar on her face trying to be like Chucky and is the worse tap dancer I have ever seen! :lol: Hecuba came back then left, she is still in the bottle. Simone after so many years discovered Chad loves Whitney and Whitney loves Chad. Now she will be like Kay and ruin their relationship.

1. General Hospital, this is a show that when it's at the top of it's peak has classy writting, acting and is an amazing soap to watch. Fave Characters- Karen, Brenda, Lucy, Monica, Carly (Sarah Brown years), Felicia (Ryan Chamberlin years). Fave Story- Felicia being stalked by Ryan, Karen working for Sonny, Brenda/Karen/Jagger triangle, Robin/Stone, Maxie's Heart.


2. All My Children, I have been a fan of AMC since the mid-1980's, and have been hooked ever since, this is one of the only soaps that i have never once stopped watching. Some soaps go through periods when they are so terrible that i just can't bring myself to watch them, but not AMC it is always enjoyable, even at its worst. Fave Character- Erica, Maria, Brooke, Laura (# 1), Greenlee, Ryan, Kendell (SMG years). Fave Story- Julia's rape, Erica stabs Dimitri w/ letter opener, Janet/Pierce/Laura live in the woods, Erica steals Maria's baby.

3. One Life To Live- I've watched "OLTL" on and off since the late-1980's, and this is one of those soaps that is truly enjoyable, with first class writting, acting and rich, deep, poigant, and amazing stories... It went through a long, long and horrible period of bad writting but has returned to its glory in the past year. Fave Character- Marty, Kelly, Viki, Natalie, Dorian, Todd, Kevin. Fave Story- Marty's Rape, Dorian/Viki fued, Dorian/Joey relathionship, Dorian/David/Kelly.


Runners-Up- Loving/City, Port Charles.

Yes. I didn't know that at first until I read Juliets bio. They kind of look a little a like imo.

4. Port Charles- One of the top soaps on ABC, i love it but don't really ever get to see it. But it is actually BETTER than "GH" is right now... at least they don't have the dumb mob story.

the only Dark Shadows i watch these days is my tapes (the 1795 storyline). those are the best episodes... eww! i watched Passions today and it sucked beyond the telling of it!i couldn't bare to watch it, so i didn't watch all of it. Port Charles is better and PC also sucks.

I only read spoilers about Passions. I just can't believe they are making a 300 year - old witch pregnant. The only thing Passions has that PC does not have is good acting. Plus PC put vampires out in the sun, that was so fake. PC doesn't know how to do supernatural storylines at all.

You just love starting fights, uh Brandon? If you watched Passions from the beginning you would have seen the show was really the best. It was named best soap of the year for two years in a row. In my opinion Passions went down hill the day Josh Ryan Evans died. The show has no chemistry like it use to. Juliet Mills can barely stand to play Tabitha anymore and she was pissed when they replaced Josh's character, it was sad. Anyways yes, Passions has better acting then PC, IMO.

I used to watch Port Charles sich the beginning but now I don't watch it anymore it got boring.

I used to watch Passions sinch the beginning to now I don't watch it cause they keep fooling around with Luis and Sheridan, one minute they are happy in love and the next they are not together I wish they leave Luis and Sheridan live happy ever after.

I used to love Sunset Beach, I watch sinch 97 to 99 when it got cancelled

I watch Dark Shadows sometime.

The only soap I watch is "One Life To Live." I watch it to see what kind of story lines there are and to see the girls. lol!

This is getting boring. I hope Passions gets canceled so you will lay off the damn show. Besides Passions is stupid, just like Port Charles. Both of the soaps should be canceled. ABC and NBC needs to find better creators for soaps that people will watch and not put down.

I'm not really a Passions fan, but since James Reilly is now writing for Days, Passions should find a new writer. No offense Passions fans, but I hope Passions does get cancelled, it's going no where, I'll watch it from time to time, but it's the same old crap. If Passions wants better ratings and more viewers, then the show better start ending storylines and get new exciting ones. For instance, how long has it been

I don't watch today's soaps but I watch the reruns of some of them they show on SoapNet (Ryan's Hope, Another World) and Sci Fi (Dark Shadows).

1. Dark Shadows (1966-1971)
I've been watching since February 4, 2002, and I've loved it since I first watched it. It did have times when it wasn't that good, but I still liked it even then. So far I've seen it from the beginning (with the exception of 90 episodes from the first year) to spring 1970, which is currently airing on Sci Fi. My favorite actors and actresses on the show include Nancy Barrett, Alexandra Moltke, Louis Edmonds, David Selby, and Grayson Hall.

2. Ryan's Hope (1975-1989)
I've been watching since February 6, 2003. I started watching during the summer of 1981, and I liked it. I watched it through December 1981, when SoapNet went back to the beginning of the run. It has great writing and great acting. It doesn't have to resort to stunts to get people interested. Claire Labine and Paul Avila Mayer did a great job writing. My favorite actors/actresses from the show include Nancy Addison Altman, Helen Gallagher, Bernard Barrow, Ron Hale, and Michael Levin.

3. Another World (1964-1999)
I've seen four episodes so far from 1987, since SoapNet has just started airing it. I like it, but not as much as the top two. The actors I've seen so far are great, but I can't choose my favorites just yet.

I also watch the SoapNet Dynasty repeats and enjoy them greatly.

Other than that, I try to catch Dark Shadows every morning.
