Is it just me or does it sound like Ed O'Neil has a cold in later seasons with mwc? His voice sounds hoarse.

He sounded better later. I thought he sounded like a gangster in the early seasons.

He souded more pleasent in the earlyier seasons like in 1 2 and 3

His voice is weird, when I see him in his other movies and stuff he sounds different. I though he was putting on his Al Bundy voice a bit?

Was he a smoker? They get hoarser voices over time. Also, it could just be ageing.

I agree he did sound gangster in the first few seasons. I always wonder if that was something they initially wanted or was Ed trying to develop the role.
