no, she said it in one of the later episodes. It was in that "arc" where Jethro, then the Clampetts after Mr. Drysdale kicked him out, took over the 5th floor of the bank building. There was one scene where Jed, Mr. Drysdale & Granny were talking and Mr. Drysdale asked where Granny got her medical training. Jed replied that she got it from Johns Hopkins and Drysdale said "SHE WENT TO JOHNS HOPKINS"???? to which Jed said "Yep. John and Elvira Hopkins. Granny rode a mule for pert near (something) miles to their place"!


For those who don't know, Johns Hopkins is a prestidious medical school in Baltimore, Maryland.
