View Full Version : Who remembers Jem and the Holograms studd911 04-15-2006, 06:46 PM Did anybody that the lead singer of jem was hott ThomasE 12-28-2009, 01:10 AM After almost four years, someone is responding to your post. I am on a serious Jem fix this weekend. I am watching episodes on Youtube. I love the videos and have been playing them over and over again. I wish that Rio had found out that Jerrica and Jem were the same person. I have some episodes that I downloaded from the bit torrent files. catlover79 12-28-2009, 01:21 AM As a little girl growing up in the 80s, my sister and I ADORED this shows. We had the dolls, the tapes, etc. With Rio two-timing Jem and Jerrica (even though they were really the same and he didn't know it) and the rivalry with The Misfits, it really was like a cartoon soap opera! No wonder it's had such a cult following all these years!! ThomasE 12-28-2009, 02:19 AM I am listening to "Only the beginning" by the Holograms on youtube as I type. It takes me to a happier time in my life back in the mid 80's. Love it. Scoobiedoo30 12-28-2009, 12:30 PM I remember the cartoon Jame tt came on at 4:30 pm on WGNO ThomasE 12-28-2009, 01:16 PM I remember the cartoon Jame tt came on at 4:30 pm on WGNO I USED TO WATCH IT TOO ON WGN 9! Cool Aaron. You are right. It did air at 4:30pm. However, since I was living on the eastcoast, what was 4:30pm to you was 5:30pm to me. I would see the show at 5:30pm on WGN along with the 9pm news at 10pm. LOL. I was just thinking about that yesterday how I'd watch Jem on my local station in Tampa, FL and then watch it on cable @ 5:30pm on WGN 9. I loved that WGN 9 was on our cable line up. angiefan 12-31-2009, 06:32 PM Me! I used to do the ear thing and say"Showtime Synergy. I wish My dad would give me lavish gifts when he dies, but he and mom won't have any money,so my brother and I will have to sell the house, and the inheritance won't be big. I would love to see all seasons on dvd.I missed it the first time. Lucy_Ricardo 06-02-2011, 10:53 PM I never forgot Jem!! :D It is my all time fave cartoon! Thanks! ~Amy~ (KJEM Radio) BTW Jem is officially back on TV! The HUB is playing episodes 4 times a day! And new Jem DVDs are in the works for later this year! :-) MikeLutton 06-13-2011, 01:45 AM i got my neice in to it and she loves it she is 8 years old and loves Jem her new favorite show.i l get her the dvds mabye when they come out. megamanj2004 09-24-2011, 01:55 AM I remember watching reruns of it on USA's Cartoon Express before getting on the bus to kindergarten. hch 07-09-2012, 12:45 PM I did love this show back then, along with "G.I. Joe" (wasn't really a Transformers fan). Thanks to the DVDs, I rediscovered this classic a few years ago. I loved how the cartoons back then had substance, story and action, unlike the cartoons of today. I'd rather have stuff like "Jem", Bugs Bunny, Fat Albert, G.I. Joe and Scooby Doo over Spongebob anyday. I wanted to get the DVDs, but they were out of print but when Shout came out with the complete series, I wanted to get it but I didn't have enough money to get them. So imagine my surprise when I saw this show on NETFLIX, along with "G.I. Joe"! I watched this show on Netflix from beginning to end and I loved every minute of it. I even got my roommates hooked on "Jem" and they loved it too. I'm on my way to finishing GI Joe on Netflix as well. It was like going back in time- sitting on the floor with my bowl of cereal and watching cartoons. I even found all of the songs and put them on CD as my own little soundtrack since there was no music released from this show! Who needs "Glee" when you have "Jem"? let'swatchtv 07-09-2012, 10:28 PM Did anybody that the lead singer of jem was hott you do know that recently reruns of that cartoon were on "The Hub" right? |
