My teacher once told us that her mother-in law was at the bank to get some money out. This stranger went up to her and said, "Wait right here. I'll get you some more money. I'll be right back." She stood there at the bank waiting for him to come back, and he never did. I used to laugh my head off at this, then I realized that it wasn't funny, it was pathetic.:rolleyes: Why would a stranger want to just give you money, and there is nothing wrong with you(you are not blind, you are not crippled, you are not begging people for money)?:rolleyes: It was probably because she was old that she believed him.

My husband sometimes laughs at sad or serious moments in movies and occasionally in life. I used to think he was nuts, then I read somewhere that it's just a nervous reaction.

In 8th grade, there was this kid that got abused so badly. One day, my friend took his jacket, gave it to some kid sitting next to the window and the kid threw it out the window. Mind you we were on the 4th floor so he had to get a pass from the teacher and security had to let him go outside to get it.

Sadly, everyone laughed(except the teacher). The teacher looked like she wanted to kill all of us.

I laughed at something that happened to one of my aunt's friends. She was a really big nag in the neighborhood she lived in, so somebody threw spaghetti all over her car and slashed the tires. I felt wrong for laughing, but the spaghetti part is what got me.

In 9th grade, some kid had a seizure. I thought he was just being an idiot and joking around so I laughed at first, but then people started getting nervous and running to get the nurse. I felt like crap.

It was probably because she was old that she believed him.Ya honey.... That was terrible what he did!!

But yes I have known people to laugh when they fall down and it confuses me.... ITS NOT FUNNY!!!!!! -- I tell ya,If I fall and someone laughs it pi$$es me off severly..........

There was a story of a handicapped man in a wheelchair who somehow got caught in the front grill of an eighteen wheeler who took off down the highway. Somehow the guy lived and the driver (probably from people signaling him right left) made him stop. If the guy was killed it would not have been funny, but he wasn’t which made it funny although you had to know the poor man was scared out of his mind.

I can't think of any real-life examples right now, but I remember as a teenager with my best friend at the movies. We saw A Star is Born 3 times. When he crashed his car (spoiler alert) at the end, we laughed really hard because we had already seen it twice before. A couple in front of us turned around and gave us a very dirty look. Oops.

There is a recent story of a Sarah Boone who somehow talked her boyfriend of being zipped up in a suitcase and then refusing to let him out. Possibly he was abusive towards her but she comes across as crazy and vindictive. Supposedly after he was zipped up she pulled the suitcase with him in it down the stairs. She even took a video of it mocking him.

It is funny to me that the fool voluntarily got inside a suitcase. That would to me be a strange request. I would say if you are in a position to get zipped in a suitcase to have something sharp to cut your way out of it. I haven’t heard but it wouldn’t surprise me much if someone in his family didn’t sue the manufacturer of the suitcase since there was no mechanism of escape.

Jeffrey Dahmer spent the night at a hotel with another man and woke up the next day to find the guy dead. Dahmer claims he was in a blackout and doesn’t remember the beating. So, he gets a suitcase, puts the body in the suitcase and lugs it out of the hotel in the car. Supposedly, the driver helps Dahmer put the suitcase in the trunk and noticing the weight, asks Dahmer “That’s heavy! Do you have a body in there?” Or that no one in the hotel noticed that Dahmer came in with a guy but left alone early the next day, comes back with a hugeass suitcase and then gone.

Hitler was a vegetarian because meat gave him gas. Seriously. For me, I just can’t picture Hitler passing gas. Or Raquel Welch for that matter. Jeffrey Dahmer was always gassed but that was from drinking and not a flactulance issue.

In the 1990’s, I was in drug “rehab” for an addiction I had.

It was “family week” where families of patients would come and would talk with each other in front of a group of other families and patients and all of that, and let the hurt, the tears and the screaming out. I hated family week.

There was one guy there, a younger guy in his learly twenties I liked a bit. I found out during this “family week” thing that his mother would allow him as a child to back up her car from the garage. Not as a teenager, a child. The last time the guy ran over his mother….

I hate to say this but I caught myself very amused at what he said, for a half a second it was funny and I had a reaction to that, but quickly caught myself to understand why more than likely this guy turned into a drug addict. Not from a “disease of addiction” but because he ran over his mother by accident because the fool woman allowed a child to drive her car. Imagine having to live with his father, or seeing the mother’s relatives, or siblings if he had them. I’d be on heroin too!

Now, if I heard this same story about someone I hate(d), it might be a different story. There was a kid who lived next door to my parents I hated and if he ran his mother over, I would bust out. It depends on the person I guess. If we read that Hitler ran his mother

Aw man, the man in the Sarah Boone Suitcase Case DIED. :( I just did some research. I was hoping that Sarah had let him out like two minutes later after getting tired of the joke and he was still alive. :( But, no. :(
