The Looney Toons that were on the Stage marching in Line on the Saturday Morning Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Show? IMO, whoever wasn' only that stage I don't think of as part of the Looney Toon Family. Like Marvin the Martian

Those were the key characters; the others served in supporting roles. But they
were ALL Looney Tunes ... and one of those minor characters even became the
icon for the WB network: Michigan J. Frog (well, for a while at least). Of
course, the network itself will soon be defunct! That's progress for you.

I agree, they were ALL Looney Tunes. Some were just more popular than others.

all the looney toons characters are very old...don't you know that? a real fan knows the characters, all of them, not just the ones they know and not consider the rest.

I guess it depends on what era you grew up in. I'm only used to the Looney Toons from the Early to mid 80's on Saturday Morning

Do you count Bosko, Buddy and any of the 30's Looney Tunes as characters even though they weren't on stage?

I do. They are the originals. Just because they weren't shown on the stage in the 80's era, doesn't mean they weren't a member of the looney toons family. By then (the 80's) the looney toons were losing their steam. They don't even show them on t.v. like they used to. When I was growing up, at least one channel would show the looney toons. Those are the classic cartoons. Along with Beanie and Cecil, Gumby (claymation), Felix the Cat, Underdog, etc. Those are classics. It's silly to say they aren't a member of the family. that's like saying grandma don't count as a member of a family just because she's old and is hardly ever seen.:D

That's what I was thinking. I watched the Looney Tunes every damn Saturday morning when I was a kid. If you watched it faithfully, you would have to know all of the characters that were not on "the stage", lol. And, yes, I am pissed that they aren't showing them that much anymore, lol. Looney Tunes will always be my favorite cartoons!!! For some reason, I don't have cartoon network, is that still around? I WANNA SEE MY LOONEY TUNES, LOL.
