No they wern't. Daria was on Beavis and Butthead.

Yeah, now that I think about it, I wonder why Beavis and Butthead were never on Daria at all?

I don't know why either but Daria was better than them anyway

Here's what Daria series character Glenn Eichler said in an interview:
"B&B were very strong characters, with a very specific type of humor and very loyal fans, and of course they were instantly identifiable. I felt that referencing them in Daria, while we were trying to establish the new characters and the different type of humor, ran the risk of setting up false expectations and disappointment in the viewers - which could lead to a negative reaction to the new show and its different tone. So we steered clear of B&B in the early going, and once the new show was established, there was really no need to hearken back to the old one."

Beavis and Butt-head lived in Highland. The Morgendorffers moved to Lawndale. So there was simply no real need to mention or include references to Beavis and Butt-head or any other characters from the series.

I always thought it'd be interesting if they had Daria go back to Highland for some reason and just happen to run into Beavis and Butt-head. Never happened unfortunately.

Beavis & Butthead would look funny on Daria. Since the animation from Beavis & Butthead is different than Daria's.

I remember, that in the earliest Daria preview I can remember, Daria said something to the effect of "It was hard leaving behind those studs Beavis and Butthead but...."

And that was it. Past that, they were never mentioned in Daria. Too bad really. XD
I think Jane could have had some fun with them. LOL
Not to mention the fact that they prolly could have HAD Britney. :lol:
