The only ones of those movies I saw were Almost Famous, and The Outsiders: The Complete Novel. I loved the 22 minutes of additional footage in The Outsiders, as well as all the bonus features, but I absolutely hated the soundtrack. Most of it I didn't think fit with the movie, especially the weird surfer music that they kept playing. :lol: So I agree with you, it was only a 3 star movie. The original Outsiders was a 4 star movie in my view, and this one would have been too if not for the horrible soundtrack. Almost Famous was awesome I thought. If you haven't already seen it, I think you'll enjoy it!! :)

Yeah, you're right--the soundtrack didn't fit in with the movie at all! I kinda thought there was something off about it. I thought the movie was good, but it was a little redundant and cheesy at times (hence why I didn't give it a better rating). I should get the original version perhaps :)
