I just saw this episode for the first time on my own copy of season 1's DVD set.Shocking:eek: What a way to end the first season.Although Veronica's"oh god oh god"line got irritating after awhile.

It is mentioned in TV Tome how this episode was not seen on TVLand in recent time.I believe the reason is quite obvious.:rolleyes:

I was getting annoyed with her going "Oh god Oh god!" too. Archie should have just let her go home. :lol:

It was a heavy episode. The scene where Murray holds Vinnie's hand when he dies and they show the machine flatline that was creepy but also sad.

Was that the girlfriend and Vinnie's mom in the room? I thought Harry said they were shot too?

Vinnie,his girlfriend and his lawyer were said to have been shot infront of his mother's house.So his mother apparently wasn't shot.But that younger woman did look like his girlfreind.

A very shocking episode. A very good one though. I think that Martin Balsam was teriific in this episode as he was in all the ABP episodes. I've always liked his work in the movies I've seen him in, but seeing him as Muarry Klein has just added to my appreciation of his talent. There were times, and this episode was one of them, where Balsam stole the show from Carroll O' Connor. And that is saying a lot.
