This story is in our local newspaper today and I couldn't believe what I read.

an apology? how can the bitch expect an apology will make it better?

I heard the 911 call. That poor scared little boy. That operator needs to not only be fired, but to face legal charges. Negligent manslaughter, if such a charge exists.

911 operators are public servants and are there to do a job that crucial to public safety, she shouldn't be allowed to remain on the payroll when she failed the duty she was hired for. She should be ashamed of making such a mistake.

oh yeah, we all know that to risk a woman's life is the right thing to do instead of to risk wasting time sending ambulance somewhere they don't need to be. i hope that dumb twat of an operator is proud of herself.

I heard about that on the news like an hour ago. That's so awful. I hate that dumb bitch. I heard the call and felt so bad. :( :(
It's terrible that people would pull pranks though to even make her think that. THe poor little boy :(

I heard part of the tape and the operator told the kid "You get off the phone or I'll call the police and you'll be in trouble". From what I heard she barely ask for the details of the situation.
