September 17th, 2006 will be the 20th anniversary of the first airing of Head of the Class! I wish there was something we could all do. Any suggestions? (I know it's a bit early, but might as well get a head start!) :woohoo:

And it still has meaning...though some of their computer technology is way out of date!! :typing:

Now that is all the more reason to put the show on DVD!

Hey all (long time no post on my part ... nearly 3 years???).
Recently been watching all the CDs my fellow fan amassed, and realized that I've now seen just about 80% of the show! I've been majorly flashing back ... except that I saw only a few of shows first run, as I was away at school when it started.
(The irony is just prior, in June 1986, I graduated from the enemy: Bronx Science! And yes, our 20th reunion is this year too!)
Anyway on the topic of a HOTC reunion, it always seemed to me that shows about schools (HOTC, A Different World) would have the easiest time coming up with a Reunion Show premise, yet few do. Odd huh?
But the easiest thing we could do is lobby for a DVD release.

It's Here.
While reflecting on the 20th anniversary of the best year in TV, the next big thing was HOTC. I was there at the beginning and liked it for its originality, decent and smart characters, and humor.
This particular 20 years between 86 and 06 seem shorter than others. Every thread I’ve read concerning something from 86 has people saying “I can’t believe it’s been 20 years” and “I feel OLD”( like the movie “Aliens”….someone said “I still see Aliens as a recent movie”).
While it’s true that time flies as you get older, maybe there's another factor with these 20 years.
Maybe the quality was so good that it made a big impact on the brain and the memories are still vivid and fresh.
