View Full Version : The Chronicles of Narnia. Did the movie follow the book (mostly)? Mr. Stefani 04-09-2006, 03:21 AM i think there were only a few changes from what i've read. it was a good movie though. ABlairican Pie 04-15-2006, 12:08 AM Movie versions of books never really faithfully follow the book, because a movie has to follow a certain pattern of events where a book does not, necessarily. It's in order to make it clear to the viewer, or at least to condense certain events down to 120 minutes of viewing time to contain the gist of the story. Liza 04-21-2006, 01:24 PM I am such a purist when it comes to adapting my children's books - and I really liked the adaptation. They did some things I wouldn't have done (did we really need to see that much of the battle?) but overall I'm very happy with how they're handling it. And extra kudos to them for making the movies in the RIGHT order! staypuftman2004 04-21-2006, 01:33 PM i like it :) |
