It was said that the character Monique plays in the movie is contradictory because one minute she demands respect regardless of how big she is and then another minute she doesn;t give respect to skinny women or white women. Also it was said that her snapping back at other people for calling her fat comes off more like ANGER than COMEDY. The critic concluded his review by saying, "It's not a bad movie, but it's a badly made one." They gave the movie a (C)
