The Rangers finally did it. They are going to the playoffs for the first time since 1997. I was in 3rd grade the last time they made the playoffs. They will most likely meet the Devils in the 1st round.

Rangers-Devils would be a great series.. like in 1994. I'm still holding out hope that the Devils will fade, and the Thrashers could make it in for the first time. Rangers still battling the Flyers for their division title. It should be interesting these last games. I think the salary cap was the best thing to happen to the Rangers. They always tried to build these All-Star teams with huge salaries, and it wasn't working for them.

The Rangers are stumbling as of late. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't win the division.
