View Full Version : Did anyone else notice JJ's hair in the episode...
Ireneparalegal 04-05-2006, 12:31 PM abt the family trying to buy a house. His hair was RED! It was so obvious to me yesterday, yet, I don't know why I never caught this before.
Also, the loan officer, Mr. Rutherford, his character acted the same way as his character did on What's Happening regarding the balloon company Shirley worked for. I had posted before abt it being the same actor, but it's weird how the same actor essentially played the same character on two different shows. He had empathy, was sincere and was well liked.

True. But in essence, the same character. That's just weird to me.

Again, proof that the GT writers made the honkies look stupid, dorky, etc.
Brieannas21 04-05-2006, 08:56 PM I didn't notice his red hair. What season was it where his hair was straight and looked as if he had used a curling iron?

True. That guy who played the "white J.J." in the "I Had a Dream" episode was a TRUE dork, always yelling for eggs Benedict and trying to "act" black. VERY embarrassing and uncomf. to watch-lol It doesn't help that the episode itself sucked big time-lol.

I think that was season 5. By year 6, he'd gone back to his previous look, more natural.

The white girl that Michael wanted to move in with wasn';t stupid or dorky

Brieannas21 04-05-2006, 09:02 PM The FBI guys weren't dorky or stupid, and the interveiwers who interviewed James weren't Dorky or acting stupid either. Oh also the Doctor on the show, both doctors.

The FBI guys were stupid. They got their tires stolen from their car. LOL
They also made that stupid "duh" reaction when Michael came off the wall with that remark abt who was looking for the assasins of Medgar Evers.
nerrad 04-06-2006, 08:46 AM  How about the "hustle my butt" social worker?

The FBI guys didn't act dorky, but were written as completely naive. They left there car outside and had their wheels ripped off and had to call a cab while Florida laughed at them.

Come again??? The militant midget?? What season was that??
And by the way, is season six planning on coming out soon on DVD? Thanks.

That was season 6 and it's no word on when it's coming out on DVD

And Alice Ghostly's characters. She didn't play those characters "normal". She played the social worker involved with Penny's adoption and she also played another character. They wouldn't pick this actress to play a character and not have the character be a dork or a doophus, that's what this actress is more famous for, playing quirky characters.
And the doctor in the Larry episode...he was "normal" up until he realized he wasn't talking to Larry's mother. Don't you think he should have known who he was talking to before talking abt someone's medical condition to them? When Flo mentioned she wasn't his mother, he then looks at Willona...and then Bookman. How stupid was that?
retrochick9 04-08-2006, 04:35 PM I think his hair looked kinda good with the red highlights. He always had nice clothes on then too.
catlover79 10-21-2007, 08:41 PM His hair looked awful dyed.
