No other details are available. I wonder what the heck he could've done considering he was scheduled to meet Rey Mysterio for the World title tonight at the Smackdown tapings.

View Full Version : Randy Orton suspended for 60 days by the WWE!!! Brian Damage 04-04-2006, 10:45 PM No other details are available. D.J. 04-04-2006, 11:24 PM No other details are available. I wonder what the heck he could've done considering he was scheduled to meet Rey Mysterio for the World title tonight at the Smackdown tapings. He might have failed a drug test. Brian Damage 04-04-2006, 11:26 PM He might have failed a drug test. Well it certainly couldn't be steroids because there is no suspensions for first offenses. Chain Gang Member 04-05-2006, 08:32 AM Man,Orton's one of my favorite wrestlers:( D.J. 04-05-2006, 03:33 PM Well it certainly couldn't be steroids because there is no suspensions for first offenses. When I first heard about this, I automatically assumed failed drug test. Either way, I don't like Orton, never did. Unprofessional conduct does not surprise me at all. Chad Michael Murray 04-05-2006, 06:53 PM This is the worst news of all time. Anyway, all that is known right now is that apparently he's been acting inappropriately backstage ever since Kurt Angle joined Smackdown. Also, he "violated the dress code" during WrestleMania weekend, whatever the heck THAT means. Anyway, I'm sure that it was his attitude that ended up getting him in trouble, and it's probably been accumulating for quite a while for them to suspend him for 60 days. But all of that aside...I DON'T CARE!! :( Randy Orton is by far my FAVORITE Superstar and it's going to drive me crazy not to see him for 2 months. BTW, the suspension officially goes into effect on April 12th. theshark8777 04-05-2006, 10:17 PM This is the worst news of all time. Chad Michael Murray 04-05-2006, 11:12 PM Awww, poor Matty, did you slip him something the other day? I would never!! Although, he does have my e-mail address now, and since he won't be as busy during the next 60 days...maybe he'll write! Oh, and for anyone just joining us: Yeah, I was lucky enough to get to meet Randy Orton last Saturday when they were in town for WM week. I also met John Cena, Maria, Victoria and Candice Michelle. I definitely spent the most hours waiting in line the two days I met Randy and John Cena. It was so worth it though! The day I met Randy Orton was also his birthday and I gave him a card. Chain Gang Member 04-06-2006, 02:16 PM You are so lucky, dude.BTW,I heard that Orton's suspension could've had to do with a diva, but I don't know how and what diva rodwayne 04-07-2006, 10:40 AM I wonder how they will play it out on "Smackdown",and will we ever get the truth about why he is suspended.Knowing WWE,Hell would freeze over frist:lol: Chad Michael Murray 04-07-2006, 12:12 PM The PWTorch Newsletter is reporting that Randy Orton's suspension is due to his behavior backstage at WrestleMania 22. The issue with Orton seems to be mostly due to his attitude about how he is a main eventer and feeling that he does not have to follow the same rules as everyone else, as opposed to doing something to someone else or his health. The word going around right now is that Orton feels he is above the rules, and has had several issues in the past backstage, mainly with female co-workers and the way he talks to them. Randy Orton is one of the least liked people backstage, and has the most heat of anyone right now. The Undertaker is said to despise Randy Orton, and it's not just an issue with "serious people" not liking his attitude, as people who love to party like Ric Flair and Kurt Angle do not like him either. Chain Gang Member 04-08-2006, 12:04 PM I don't understand how he's still wrestling eventhough he's suspended.First he wrestles Rey,now he's gonna wrestle Kurt Angle next.Whassup Wit Dat?! Chad Michael Murray 04-08-2006, 10:10 PM BTW, the suspension officially goes into effect on April 12th. Chelsea 04-09-2006, 01:55 AM They still need Randy for story purposes through next week, so they're choosing to use him, and THEN suspend him. The PWTorch Newsletter reports that Randy Orton has been fined by WWE multiple times for using the “C-word” to insult women behind the scenes in WWE, however has not taken it seriously. His attitude towards WWE’s rules and punishment is said to be what got him suspended this time. "He's lucky he didn't get fired. He has a lot of growing up to do. It was just stupid - disrespectful to the boys and the company." Says one WWE source about his latest incident. "Undertaker despises him, and Ric Flair, Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, and even Triple H have grown tired of his act. They barely tolerate him." Orton’s disrespectful treatment of women is said to be what has turned most people backstage against him. As previously reported, he is the most disliked person in the locker room right now. Now, I'll admit, I don't know as much about the wrestling business as some, but one thing I do know...when personalities/egos as various/different (large/small/other) as Undertaker/Triple H/Kurt Angle/Chris Benoit/Ric Flair ALL hate someone, that's saying something. Chain Gang Member 04-12-2006, 08:15 AM Not only is Orton suspended, but he now has an injured ankle.I don't know if that's part of the storyline of why he isn't gonna be on TV or if he REALLY injured it http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/downwardspiral GET WELL RANDY ORTONpatriot: Chad Michael Murray 04-12-2006, 10:25 AM Not only is Orton suspended, but he now has an injured ankle.I don't know if that's part of the storyline of why he isn't gonna be on TV or if he REALLY injured it http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/downwardspiral GET WELL RANDY ORTONpatriot: It's 99.9% likely that it's just a storyline to get him off of TV. Although the news of his suspension was posted on WWE.com, it's different because they never addressed the topic on TV. Even though in real life we know why he won't be there for 2 months, this is just the way to put him out of commission on-screen during that time. Chelsea 04-13-2006, 01:29 AM Ankle injury's a work (IE: fake) Randy Orton’s 60-day suspension is an indefinite suspension. There are reports circulating around that he will not make a return to the company. WWE is planning to keep him under contract until his deal expires to keep TNA from signing him. They would pay him the smallest amount of money as possible, and he will not be able to work for any other company. Chain Gang Member 04-13-2006, 01:43 PM I hope that they still keep him.Randy may be a jackass in the locker room, but he can kick ass in the ring Chelsea 04-13-2006, 10:36 PM ..but he can kick ass in the ring Eh, not really. I've watched Orton, and would probably rate him about a 6 on a 1-10 scale (For the talent-starved Smackdown, a 6 isn't bad. But he's just...ok) theshark8777 04-13-2006, 10:44 PM Eh, not really. Chad Michael Murray 04-13-2006, 10:45 PM Maybe a -6!! Actually, Randy is so awesome that no number scale will ever do him justice. theshark8777 04-13-2006, 10:46 PM Actually, Randy is so awesome that no number scale will ever do him justice. Yeah he's had all that free time, where's that email?;) Chain Gang Member 04-14-2006, 10:36 AM Actually, Randy is so awesome that no number scale will ever do him justice. Yeah. He's beaten all these great superstars.Kane,Undertaker,Batista,SHawn Michaels,Mick Foley,Triple H,Ric FLair,Rey Mysterio.I think there are more Chad Michael Murray 04-14-2006, 12:41 PM Yeah he's had all that free time, where's that email?;) Today is only the third day of his suspension, I'll have you know. Brian Damage 04-14-2006, 05:55 PM It is really sad what has happened to Orton. He does have a lot of talent, but has a 2 cent brain. You'd figure he would know better considering he is a third generation wrestler. I think the best thing is to fire him and let him try and grow up and mature before rehiring him. Chad Michael Murray 04-14-2006, 09:18 PM It is really sad what has happened to Orton. I think the best thing is to fire him and let him try and grow up and mature before rehiring him. That won't happen though, because TNA would snatch him up in a second and I think that just may be something that could make TNA into a formidable threat to WWE, since all of Randy's fans would probably begin watching it. |
