17 and 18 were the two most fun years of my life, thus far. As much as I love how things are right now, sometimes I wish I could go back to my senior year of high school.

I agree!!! I am 21 but I had a big promotion back when I was 19 about to turn 20 and once you step into the "REAL WORLD" its harsh!!!! People don't care about how hard you work they just want you to meet numbers and that is all. No good jobs or you are doing well like in school....Customers are rude they don't care what your day has been like or what you have to do they want you took make them your first prioritey. Even when you have a school test in an hour and had no time to review anything!~ That is what I say ENJOY IT! Because when you no longer wake up every morning to start getting ready for another long school day...you will MISS IT!

oh I can't wait until I'm working full-time. I'm sick of bouncing around from part time to part time and being so dirt poor. collge life would be a lot less stressful if I didn't have to worry about making the bills every month and slowly going into debt.

My dad said it's a little lazy because u won't go out and get a real job.
But I don't totally agree......I'd just rather take care of my kids all day instead of go out and get a job and deal with rude jerks 24/7 (like bosses, customers, coworkers, ect.)

Staying at home and raising your kids is not a lazy job. Sure you don't get paid for it but it is a hell of a lot of work...although that is a job I really want someday.

Letting kids do whatever they want is a bad BAD idea. It's the kids who have no disicpline that are the biggest brats.

I have two little ones ages 2 and 6 months, And my job outside the home is much EASIER then it is at home. When you have kids you'll forget how peace and quiet feels. And plus labor isn't fun at all, hurts like hell.

I have to nitpick over the thread title too... a lot of people aren't in the working world after age 22. And that will never be my definition of the "real world" because I don't plan on trying to rake in money for a company. But I see what you're saying about adult responsibilities. I still think it's harder to be a kid. I'm 22 now and I want to keep getting older and going forward. Screw the ages before this.
