Hey kids, TJL here.
I'm clearing space on my tivo and preparing snacks as we speak for the premiere of the new comedy "Pepper Dennis" Tuesday night on the WB!
And just who is Pepper Dennis and what does she want from us?
Here’s the skinny from the WB website:
Pepper Dennis (Rebecca Romijn, "X-Men," "Just Shoot Me") is a beautiful and ambitious reporter with her sights set on anchoring Chicago's top-rated evening news broadcast. Just when Pepper thinks she's about to land her dream anchor job, her hot new guy, Charlie Babcock (Josh Hopkins, "The Perfect Storm," "Ally McBeal"), shows up in the newsroom and steals the job out from under her. Complicating Pepper's daily life is her needy and recently separated sister Kathy (Brooke Burns, "North Shore," "Baywatch"), who has moved in with her. Only Pepper's close friends and co-workers, makeup artist Kimmy (Lindsay Price, "Beverly Hills, 90210") and cameraman Chick (Rider Strong, "Boy Meets World"), seem to feel her pain.
I don’t know about you, but I’m riveted!
Pepper, you had me at beautiful and ambitious.
Plus I heard that Rebecca does plenty of pratfalls and other physical shtick, because watching a pretty girl fall down a lot is freaking comic gold!
Will Pepper find true love? Will she find happiness? Have the people forgotten about “Emily’s Reason’s Why Not,” the ABC series that featured another hot girl (Heather Graham) trying to find true love and happiness but was canned after one episode?
Tune in Tuesday night folks and let Pepper Dennis fall ass backwards into your heart!
