I told you i figured that would go backward with the eps. I remember I thought they was going to skip eps 315-320 of Diffrent Strokes when 321 was added and then all of a sudden 316 was added. So I had to record over eps 205-207 of ODDAT because I want everything to be in order like season 1 is.

I was afraid they would not show The Runaways since they did not show certain FoL episodes. Why in the hell am I here for? I better get taping. I can hear the shouting already! :happyface I'm gonna put The Runaways on one tape. Hopefully if I ever get a DVR I can transfer the Comcast episodes of ODAAT and Maude on DVD.

It looks like we will get The runaways Part 3 and 4 on April 9. They are also giving us "Schneider's Pride and Joy", and the "The Upholstery Ripoff" later in the month...not to mention they are starting the fourth season of The Facts of Life too!!!

It don't matter if you have a DVR, just get them on VHS now and convert in the future like I plan to do because you never know when Comcast will get rid of the show.

Yup, I just recorded up the first 7 episodes in a marathon session...and if you look at each episode, it'll tell you when they will be erased,

episodes 107-112 will be gone on april 30th....

you never know when Comcast will get rid of the show.Do you know a schedule is online: http://comcast.m0.net/m/p/com/mic/search.asp?p=5&s=FULL_TITLE&k=&o=&c=TV+Entertainment&n=&st=category
Anyone know if they stick to it?

A DVR is just a Hard drive like Tivo.
A DVD Recorder has a burner to put video on DVD. The exciting ones also have hard drives(HDD), for easy access to 50+ hrs of video, editing, making custom DVD's with menus, etc. $300 gets rid of your Tivo fee and gets you out of the box. I just came up with that.

I just bought my 1st one. It was time. It's not as expensive as it seems when you consider the convenience... the sooner you get one, the less VHS's to transfer and reorganize. No Fast forward searching. And VHS are $1+ each. DVD's are 40 cents each.
