I doubt this story has been on Lifetime, but information I have gathered indicates it originally aired on 9/13/89. Kane, you may remember.
The victim's name was Todd McAfee, and he was found shot to death near a tomato field about two miles from his Myakka City, Florida trailer home on Aug. 18, 1987.

I only saw it once, on NBC. I never saw it rerun on Lifetime, so it's highly probable that it never appeared on Lifetime.

I described that case on this message board in the past, but I couldn't remember the name of the victim. So thank you for the information. ;)

One of the things I remember about the case was that Todd's corpse was found at a ditch in an area where crocodiles lived. A crocodile could have seen the corpse and eaten it. So if Todd McAfee's body hadn't been found when it was, it might not have been found at all.
