Because I'm just a person who is......well, unattractive. And when I'm somewhere online, like here, no one can judge me on what I look like (unless of course I show my picture) because they can't see me.......all they can judge me on is my personality, and that's what matters. And even talking to people you know in real life, it's better online to talk to them.
But sadly, in real life people (at my school) a lot of times only judge me on my looks......this one girl at my school, Kayla Presley, who I hate more than anything now, is so mean and she called me the ugliest person in school! She hates me now for the stupidest reason!

I know it's hard when people say cruel things.

Actually, I think things have been better for me offline then online. In school I wasn't Mr. Popularity or anything, but thankfully I wasn't picked on very much. And in all the jobs I've had I made friends with my co-workers pretty easily. Online though I have had some problems. Though I think that is thankfully all behind me now.

Yeah, that girl is no prize. And in all honesty, most girls at 14 AREN'T. At 14 you are still growing up and trying to fit into your own skin and while kids are cruel, I think the best thing to do is just ignore the insults or make it clear that you could give two sh**s about what someone thinks, even if you do care, play it off as if you don't and that should stop some of the mean remarks.

I know how you feel. :( My 8th grade year people made fun of me so much. But now that I am in high school and those kids dropped out (LOOOOOSERS) I feel much better. Surround yourself with people that make you feel good (i.e. friends) and join a club or two at your school so you can make even more friends. Let your personality shine through!!! And I'm sure your not ugly. :rolleyes: everyone is beautiful in their own way. :)

I think if the child is under 18, school counselors have some sort of obligation to tell parents of what is going on, especially if it is "harassement" of another student. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that is the case. But to call parents just if a kid swore, that's a bit extreme.

I hate people like that...... I only judge people by there personalty and how they are like in the inside NOT outside... people like that make infront of people are losers and stuck up on themselfs , if she hates you now for the stupidest reasons then forget her she was never a friend if she treats you like crap now and call you names..
