my 23 year old cat pearl went missing two days ago. and since its a known fact that cats tend to go off my themselves before they die... we can assume that she's not coming back. it sucks because she's been my buddy my whole life and now when i come home she's not there. :(

im sorry for you loss. i had a cat for 11 years and he died about 5 years ago. I havent had the heart to get another cat. :(

I'm so sorry about Pearl. She was just beautiful, and she had such a long life. I'm sure that you and your family gave her a beautiful life. I lost my 17-year cat old Foxy four months ago, and I still break down at least twice a week over it. I never thought it would hurt this bad.

It won't be easy for you, but remember that we're all here for you.

Oh my goodness, that is awesome she is okay!!!! I was just checking out this thread for the first time and I was so sad thinking she was never coming home.

She reminds me of my Dustie Cat who just had her 6th birthday on April 1st. I hope Pearl isn't in too much pain and her injury heals well.

Being a cat owner and lover, I can feel your sense of loss, as it is never easy to say goodbye to a beloved cat, especially one you've had for so many years. Just realize that she had a long, prosperous and happy life, filled with love and care provided by you... :)
