View Full Version : How old were you when angelbluez 03-30-2006, 03:50 PM You had your first baby? My aunt is 44 and she just had her first baby. Ireneparalegal 03-30-2006, 03:53 PM i was 19. I had my second five years later. I gave birth to my third when I was 36. My kids are 22, 17 and 4 years of age. I am done. dawsongirl 03-30-2006, 04:10 PM Well, I can safely say I will be 27 or older. Brieannas21 03-30-2006, 04:16 PM Well I got married had my first baby when I was 23, and then 18 months later I had my second at 24. 80s_Fan 03-30-2006, 04:52 PM I just turned (37) last week and still don't know yet if I will even have one baby. One thing though, if I haven't had one by the age of (40) then I won't have any because as you get older; it gets even more risky. Ireneparalegal 03-30-2006, 04:56 PM I just turned (37) last week and still don't know yet if I will even have one baby. One thing though, if I haven't had one by the age of (40) then I won't have any because as you get older; it gets even more risky. it's a scary thing. I remember having to have an amniocentisis when I was pregnant with my last child. It was the waiting that was the worst. Being my age and having a baby it is required to have that test done. I was soooo worried. But no matter what, I was going to have my baby. I had to spend my third month in bed because the doctor was worried I would have a miscarriage because of complications and bleeding i was having. My other doctor was telling me to have an abortion, not only because of my bad back, but also because of the complications i was having it was a "sign of an impending miscarriage or abnormal baby". I told her "NO." She kept insisting, but I refused. I am glad I didn't, I had a healthy baby boy and he is such a cutie pie. I love him to death. Brieannas21 03-30-2006, 05:25 PM it's a scary thing. Ireneparalegal 03-30-2006, 05:25 PM Bed rest was the worst for me, I hated it. the only time i want to lay in bed is when I WANT TO SLEEP!!! Brieannas21 03-30-2006, 05:29 PM the only time i want to lay in bed is when I WANT TO SLEEP!!! I hear ya, when I was on bed rest, everything irritated me. As sweet as my husband was he got on my last nerve  swedeace 03-30-2006, 05:49 PM It is most-likely going to be after I am 30. I don't plan on having my kids until after 30. I was still very young looking at the time and it was hard to accept. But I soon got over it. She is now almost 15 and she is a joy! :) I am proud to be her Granny!:happyface Mijada 03-31-2006, 03:33 PM 33 AB 03-21-2007, 04:36 PM 34, My blood sugar got too high and I had to have extra tests. It seems you run into more problems as you get older. Ireneparalegal 03-21-2007, 05:46 PM 34, My blood sugar got too high and I had to have extra tests. It seems you run into more problems as you get older. Most definitely. Liza 03-21-2007, 10:06 PM No kids yet. Not even a halfway decent guy yet. So it seems very unlikely that I'd be giving birth before my 25th birthday (in 4 months) I want to have children someday. But I think I'll find a guy first. Call me a traditionalist ;) catlover79 03-21-2007, 11:41 PM I've never had a baby, but my sister was 24 when she gave birth for the first time almost a year ago!! Before her little boy was born, she had a miscarriage at about 9 weeks in June 2005. She was so devastated, so when she gave birth to a healthy baby almost exactly a year later, we knew he was loved even more because he was wanted so much. My nephew is the apple of everyone's eye. :D Crimson and Clover 03-25-2007, 03:31 PM I was 19 when I had Lor, Ill be 21 when I have Lillian. |
