This was a very good show,and Markie Post was wonderful.John Ritter really shined as well, and the first season did show how a relationship between a man and a woman could grow into something wonderful.

It was a cute show, but actually, to me, it seemed like 'john' and 'Georgianna' were like a bunch of high school kids who couldn't keep their hands off each other. 'Heart's Afire' was like another version of 'Three's Company'. With the exception that 'John' was chasing just after one girl, not sereral.
But the one thing about the show that I didn't care for, is that he ex was a homosexual( or exploring her homosexuality'). But I'm glad that they didn't go into the 'area' too much. To me, things like like should stay behind closed doors, not viewed for the world to hear about it.:rolleyes:

I love the fact that the show was about love. It is a very good show. I think that John and Markie did a wonderful job acting together. They really made the show work well.
