I'm getting very excite and anxious in waiting for the DVD cover and release date for Volume 4. Season 4 is my favorite season. I'm only specalutating, but I'm saying it will be around, December or November, out just in time for Christmas.

What were some of your favorite things about Season 4.

Here a few notables:
Rebecca and Jesse gets married
Michelle gets here first punishment
Stephanie gets glasses.
The only season to have a New Year special
Danny and Cindy hook up
Stephanie's hairstyle changes
Rebecca gets pregnant
Jesse, Joey, and Danny go into the production business
Joey's father appears for the first time
Comet's first birthday
Jesse's 10 year high school reunion
Danny's hairstyle changes toward the end of the season
new cast pics in opening credits, Lori Loughlin, John Stamos, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, and of course the girls pics which always changed from season to season.

Yeah, what they did with Rusty is the same thing they did with charachters like Urkel and Cody on shows like Family Matters and Step by Step. They were trying to add some new blood to liven up the show and to help boost ratings. Also to add a young boy to the cast since the rest of the cast was adult men and young girls. The writers actually asked Christopher Jordan Michael to come on the show full time as Rusty. But he refused the offer. I know this info from a friend of mine.

BURBANK, CA (April 17, 2006) – The good times keep coming on Full House, the endearing family comedy whose fourth season will be released on DVD by Warner Home Video (WHV) on August 15, 2006. Viewers of all ages will want to join the Tanner's household for another year of fun and laughter as the girls keep growing up and the grownups try to keep up! Full House: The Complete Fourth Season will be available in a four-disc set featuring 26 episodes and will retail for $29.98 (SRP).

Set in San Francisco, Full House chronicles the adventures of the Tanners, an unconventional family headed by Danny Tanner (Bob Saget), a doting, widowed father who's left to raise his daughters. With his brother-in-law, the wanna-be rock star, "Uncle Jesse" Katsopolis (John Stamos) and his best friend, the stand-up comic, Joey Gladstone (Dave Coulier) by his side, Danny learns all about parenting three young girls, including eldest daughter, D.J. (Candace Cameron), Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and the baby of the family, Michelle (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen).

Full House, which continues to be a favorite amongst kids and grownups alike, brings another fun-filled year of hilarious episodes that promise to keep consumers thoroughly entertained. Season four brings big changes, including wedding bells for Jesse and Rebecca (Lori Laughlin) as well as a new addition to the household. Plus lots of other exciting moments, such as graduation for the girls and Joey joining Frankie Avalon (Back to the Beach) and Annette Funicello (Back to the Beach) when he's cast in a new "Beach Party" television series. And what would family life be like without those everyday little dramas such as Stephanie getting upset when she learns she needs glasses (Jaleel White, "Steve Urkel" from Family Matters makes a guest appearance in the episode), Michelle's new pet fish dying tragically after she gives him a bubble bath, Danny experiencing a mid-life crisis, D.J. and Stephanie accidentally knocking a hole in their father's bedroom wall and much more. Viewers won't want to miss any of the crazy antics of the Tanners in the complete fourth season which will be available on DVD for the first time.

"The success of Full House on DVD is phenomenal. In addition to viewers of the original airings, the DVDs appeal to a large new generation of fans that have discovered it in syndication," commented Rosemary Markson, WHV Vice President, TV Marketing. She added, "The show's enduring popularity is rooted in its entertaining portrayal of a loving close knit family. It has the power to connect with audiences of all ages 20 years after its creation and that is why it has been a hit with consumers on DVD."

The show originally premiered on ABC on September 22, 1987 and ran until May 23, 1995. Today, Full House airs in syndication on Nick at Nite and ABC Family. It continues to rank in the top 5 for girls, ages 8-15, and in the top 10 for boys, ages 8-11.

I just hope they start bringing back decent extras. Fans WANT extras. I'd like to see creator commentary again. The back of season 3 says "fun extras". One extra feature is all it came with.

Please Warner Bros, give us some goodies that make the set great for the 4th season set!

Yes. And even more importantly, get the darn show right! Season 3 had mono sound on DVD even though it was the year they switched to stereo. This is DVD! Having the stereo sound included where possible should be a given!!

Oh well. At least they haven't screwed up and put edited-for-syndication episodes on the DVDs.
