A few days ago it was announced that Bossier High School would have a Jean day.. We have uniforms so a jean day would be fun and we would pay a dollar to wear them and to raise money whatever reason.
Well it was announced that we would have to pay 5 dollars! 5!! The most we ever had to pay was 1 dollar. Well today we found out why we needed to pay that extra 4 dollars

Local Bossier High principal accused of stealing school funds
The principal at Bossier High School was arrested this afternoon and charged with stealing money from school accounts to pay personal bills and gambling debts.
Albert "Bud" Dean, 58, was booked by Bossier Parish sheriff's detectives on a charge of felony theft.
Investigators said Dean took cash from school accounts over the past 10 months. Those accounts held money from fundraisers, the football team and cheerleader squads, they said. Principals routinely have access to those accounts.
Approximately $31,600 was taken since last June, deputies said.
Investigators said Dean had paid back about $10,000 when they began investigating him. School system audits found money at Bossier High unaccounted for and sheriff's investigators were notified.
Dean has worked for the school system for 24 years. He has been placed on leave by schools Superintendent Ken Kruithof.
