Greetings,
I will be sending a letter to First Look Media this week asking if they have the rights to all UM episodes. Also, I will state that I, and many others are willing to pay by season; or are willing to choose episodes based on preferance.
At the end of the letter, I'll request they write me back and tell me what they think.
It's a 'nice' letter, nothing offensive, just a request.
Cheers,

Great idea greatgarrett. If you need someone to proofread it for you (just to assure it looks professional), let me know.

i think it would be great if we could get Cosgrove Muerer and FL to do a DVD where we are updated on some of these cases, like linda sherman and others that as far as we know are still unsolved... also they should have more special features and commentary.
they have not done this series justice in my opinion.
That is a good idea. What's the address?

Not to toot my own horn, but I would appreciate it if you could include my idea of letting the fans pick the best segments, then have them sell the exclusively through the website. They could produce the sets based on how many people pre-order, rather than produce 500,000 copies that won't sell, thus losing them money. I would also buy season sets as well if they made them, although I don't think that will happen.
I just don't think they will want to do a mass, major release again like they did with the previous sets. The previous sets didn't sell well, hence the price drop and the "Best of" set that caters to the ordinary person. As much as we love the show, I don't ever see another new, major release for the general population.

It would have been great had they originally allowed fans to vote on what stories to release.

8000 Sunset is where the big Virgin Megastore is here in LA. I don't think First Look's offices are very big, so I wouldn't expect a prompt reply. They would have to receive requests from more people than are members of this forum to even consider changing their minds in producing any further dvds.
