Are there are any online people you know, sorta know, or forum with who went on to become famous?

I do. Who knows the Ohio-based band, Hate Dies Hard? As some of you know, I am an Ace of Base fan, and there is an Ace of Base fan named Lili who is now part of this band! She is French, but she moved to Ohio three years ago to pursue singing!! We are happy for her!! Yay! She's famous!! :D

Well a few years ago (quite a few, and I've heard this story a million times) when my gf was like 13-14, she used to chat with the Hanson brothers online but chatted more often with their sister.

People thought she was nuts or just naive, but when her and her friend went to one of their concerts, I guess after the concert (she never got to MEET the brothers face to face) the sister was out there passing out buttons and all kinds of propaganda, and when she got to my gf and her friend, she specifically said "Heyyyyy (insert gf's name here)!"

Also, I guess when the tour bus was leaving, she swears to God that the middle brother looked directly at her and waved.

I don't know if I'd call this meeting them online, but I've been on IMDb message boards with the following celebs.

1)Zachary Levi("Less Than Perfect's" Kipp Steadman).
2)Tippy Walker(former teen actress in the 1964 cult flick "The World of Henry Orient.")
3)Jasmine Richards(current teen actress known as Margaret Browning-Levesque on "Naturally, Sadie.")

I exchanged e-mails with James MacArthur (Star of Hawaii 5-O) for a while. He was really really nice.

I've exchanged emails with Christina like three times. Her mom is very good in keeping her close to fans.

ha Riley Keough(shes a model,lisa marie presley's daugher), back before she became a model. my friend actually dated her so i used to talk to her on aim and such.

I see some people are misunderstanding me.

I mean if there is someone you recognize from the online world of forums or the like (whether you have written with them or just recognize their name) who you learned later to be a little more famous? You know - you then think, "Hey! I knew that person!"

WOW! If she wouldn't have met them at the concert and they knew her I probably wouldn't have believed it. There's tons of Hanson posers out there. Pretty cool!
