Are most of your friends more like your personality or less like your personality? Do you prefer your friends are more like you or less like you? Do you get along better with friends/people who are more like you or less like you?

Taking a look at all my friends, I like to have different types of friends more so than all or most of my friends who are like me. I like the variety of personalities in my friends instead of having any of my friends almost exactly like me. I find it quite interesting as I can learn or see how they handle things in their lives with their types of personality that is not like mine. I think all my friends have certain similiarties in me, but it is those other things that are not similar to me that I like to learn or observe from them. It is those personalities in each of my friends that I admire about them with.

I'd say most of my friends are more social and outgoing than I am, which I tend to like. For some reason, I am attracted to people who can bring out the crazy side in me that I KNOW is hidden there...sometimes I just need people around me that make me feel comfortable enough. So, I guess you could say my friends are a mix of being like me and being different from me. My friends are what I would be if I stripped away that quiet exterior I have.

I hope that made sense :)

Yes! I know exactly what you mean about those friends "bringing out the comfortable side" of you. It's the same way with one of my friends. She's soooooo outgoing, loud, funny, and very sociable. When I am around her, I also tend to feel more comfortable in being more sociable and loud like her. I understand what you mean.

They tend to be more like me, as far as common interests go, but personality wise, my friends are more extroverted. I am really shy and tend to gravitate toward people who talk more. :)

My roommate and i are pretty similar in personality, we've been friends for 20 years, and we share very similar tastes in things, plus we come from similar backgrounds.
As far as my other friends, some are similar, but others are a lot different. Variety helps keep things interesting with a large group of friends.

Kind of like me, though, mainly different.

My best friend is similar in that we are both intelligent and love having intellectual conversations. But, otherwise, we're pretty different...he's so much more patient and kind and understanding than I am!

Most of my other friends, I'd say we're similar enough to have commonalities, but very different otherwise :)
