This is my first time posting on this forum. I am a regular poster on the Unsolved Mysteries forum, but this case touched me deeply. Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone remembers a segment on Maury which the topic was, "Beaten, Shot and Stabbed, But I Survived!" A woman named Gidget was with her Mom on the panel and they wheeled Gidget out in a wheelchair. Gidget was at home and her boyfriend burst in and beat her in the head with a baseball bat. As a result she is paralyzed from the neck down and has a piece of her skull missing.

That segment intrigued me and I felt so much sympathy for Gidget.

I wanted to know if anyone remembered seeing that Maury segment AND if there are any updates on the case?

Where would Gidget be from?

Any thoughts?

Or, anyone know where Gidget is at now, or what she is doing?

For a moment I thought this would be about Gidget making Jeff go on Maury to take a lie detector test to see if he cheated on her with Larue ;-)

I believe it first aired sometime in 2003......could be wrong, though.
