I use to love that show. There was a lot of friction behind the scenes because Thea Vidale and Brandy didn't get along. Yvette Wilson, who played Thea's sister was my favorite.

The show premeired during my freshman year of college which means I didnt get to see it because you don't have time to watch TV in College

It was based on those Look Who's Talking movies, I think. Tony Danza was the voice of the baby. I don't remember him physically being on the show.

The only time I remember watching "Baby Talk" was when Anna Maria Horsford from Amen guest starred as a pregnant lady who went into labor in Scott Baio's apartment. It seems like it was on longer than six months.

It's a shame the show didn't come along during the UPN and WB era because it would have defintely lasted more than 7 months.


I agree. I taped some episodes of Thea off BET several years ago but I accidentally taped over them :crazy: My favorite episode of Thea is when Thea is trying to get to a Smokey Robinson concert but she keeps getting distracted by her kid's problems.

I remember this show, I actually found it entertaining my mother even liked it, which still shocks me because I didn't think a woman like her would watch it.

My brother and my aunt on the other hand hated it. They thought she was loud and ghetto.

LOL!!! Wow, 13 years, jesus, I was 13 years old too! Seems like yesterday.

Only reason I was shocked that my mother liked it was because she was a Russian-Hungarian immigrant who didn't speak english that good and it like sitcoms too much(except for Cosby Show, Cheers, and M.A.S.H) and instead watched a lot of PBS.

haha, its funny, because the woman who played the main character was in the wwe for a bit, playing a wrestler's sassy mother. she was good in that role; wwe axed the gimmick after a few months though and i havent heard anything about her since.
