Jo_Luvs_Ketchup 03-26-2006, 12:38 PM I am still alll red from embarassment! I had to come straight here and give everyone a big laugh!
Okay, I had to get up this morning and go to a breakfast for my sister's boyfriend. First we had to go to the mass. I was unfamiliar with this church and didn't really want to go, but I went anyway. They should NOT have taken me! lol FIRST, when my cousin arrived, she was wearing a weird coat and I cracked my mom up by mentioning how many muppets died to make it:lol: Heard it on TV somewhere ;) Now here comes the biggie. I'm going to h.e.l.l. for this one. We're kneeling in prayer and someones very loud cell phone starts going off. It's playing 'Oh When The Saints Go Marching In' and I LOST IT! I started laughing sooooo hard and loud I couldn't stop. My sister started laughing a little but was getting mad at me. My grandma and aunt turned around and glared, wondering what I was doing. Then everyone else who's trying to pray is turning around giving me looks. I tried to stop but I just couldn't. At the breakfast, everyone was making fun of me. Omg I'm still so embarassed and STILL am laughing about it:rofl:
Disney Guru 03-26-2006, 02:04 PM LOl,
That's soo funnny yet bad. But i know what you are talking about. Once at a funeral, the guy who had died who was only 21's grandmother was speaking. And i don't know what it was about her, but something about she was saying cracked me up. And i started laughing my head off, and my mom, dad, and step bro. evan were sitting there saying "chris, shut up will ya" lol. That was truly comical.
SBTB Geek 03-26-2006, 02:49 PM LOL, I wish I was there!
80sTrivia 03-26-2006, 03:15 PM It's always funny when laughter strikes you at the most inappropriate moment... and you can't make yourself stop laughing... :happyface

When I was 12 something very much like this happened to me. I was at mass with my dad and older sister and the priest was reading something from the bible and he read something that I just found hysterical. I can't remember what it was. I just started laughing and couldn't stop. I felt guilty but I could not stop laughing. And everyone was looking at me and thinking what is the matter with that boy?
swedeace 03-26-2006, 04:41 PM That is funny!
That happened to me while I was reading computer lab rules to an intro to computer class in early January. I knew RIGHT before reading the lab rules to the class that I was in that "everything looks funny to me" trance, but I ignored it. I tried very hard to hold back my funny thoughts/laughter while reading them, but I couldn't hold back midway and just cracked up in laughter. I apologized to the instructor, and she felt my contagious laughter and started chuckling a bit. She then asked me what was so funny, and I had to stop and told her, "I am just in a laughing mood. I'm sorry." Imagine trying to read to the class something like, "Chatting, games, and porn is not tolerated in the computer labs" while breaking into laughter! The students were, like, "okay." Every now and then she will bring it up to me and tease me about it. She will never let me live it down!
I think our brains just sometimes go on overdrive when we try hard NOT to think of funny things. It's that whole pink elephant theory. The more you tell yourself not to think of it, your brain DOES think of it. Then our imaginations let loose at that point.
Hollow 03-26-2006, 07:55 PM several years ago at church we'd just finished singing some worship song that ended with an uplifting line...."may the lord be with us" or something like that. some little girl yelled "NO!" and some adults chuckled but my sides were hurting like hell from laughing so damn hard. it was unbelievable. i spent the rest of the day laughing my effing ass off, and i seriously couldn't sleep that night because i couldn't stop laughing about it.
-*Forever*- 03-26-2006, 08:20 PM I was in school and we had played Duck Duck Goose and my best friend had reminded me of an episode of The Simpsons where Ralph ran around tagging everything, going, "DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCK DUCK" in a really high pitched voice. So we were doing serious breathing exercises and I thought of it and just died laughing and my teacher got mad at me, but I just couldn't stop laughing, and I even started crying cos I was laughing so hard.
And another time, we were in Science, and supposed to be reading this packet silently. I sat with one of my best friends and the pictures in it were so hilarious, we just started laughing. We were in trouble already so we had to try even harder not to laugh and oh man it was just bad. And then a third time I was in a library with my other friend and we weren't supposed to be online, but we were, so we were on eBay and looking up stuff about Ellen Burstyn and it said "Signed YaYa" and we were like WTF IS A SIGNED YAYA and we were crying laughing and my grandma got soooooooo mad at us.
Oh man, I'm laughing thinking of all these things ahaha :rotflmao:
KissMyGrits 03-26-2006, 09:24 PM LOL!! That is too funny!! That reminds me of when my husband's ex mother-in-law died. We went to her funeral and took my son. He was almost six months old and my friend made the mistake of bouncing him on her knee. He started saying "aahhhhhh" It was so funny!! The best part was that everyone there thought it was cute!! At the time though I wanted to crawl under the seats....
I Love John Ritter 03-26-2006, 10:18 PM LOL! That is really funny! I hate it when I suddenly feel like laughing in inappropriate situations for no particular reason. One time, my friend and I went to see a Symphony Rehersal, and about halfway through the rehersal, my friend decides to looks through the program. She was looking at the list of names of the people playing in the Symphony, and she found someone with a funny last name and started laughing quietly. She pointed it out to me, and then I started laughing. We continued to laugh, and as we continued to laugh, it only got funnier and we laughed harder. No matter how hard we tried, we just could not stop. We were laughing full-fledged, and the song the Symphony was playing was nearing the end. After they played the last note, the players froze and there was silence in the entire Hall to give the effect of the piece they were playing. Silence, all except my friend and I laughing. We tried not to make any noise, but that didn't work. I still laugh when I think about that. It was so hilarious.
dawsongirl 03-27-2006, 12:10 AM  Sorry, but that person with the cell deserved to be laughed at for leaving it on in church.
Jo_Luvs_Ketchup 03-27-2006, 12:34 AM Omg thanks everyone! Nice to know I'm not the only one  My family's still laughing at me

Penny Lane 03-27-2006, 10:54 AM Accidents happen. One Sunday My Mom's cell phone rang during the sermon.(She thought that she had left it in the car) Her cell plays "The Mexican Hat Dance" Well at least your song was a little more "appropriate!

Anytime that we go to mass, my mom forbids my dad and I to sit together. The reason for it is because we end up cracking each other up. I remember one time, I was kneeling and praying and my dad nudged me. He said, "That lady ahead of us paid $12.99 for her shoes." I was like, "Huh?" I looked down at the bottom of her feet and she had a price tag on the bottom of each shoe. I cracked up so hard.
