does anyone remember this case. She was abducted by a long haired male with a pot marked face in 1988 at a neighborhood convinient store. Anybody know of any updates?

Was this where she was abducted at a grocery store? I think she was riding a skooter. I don't think that case was ever solved, I could be wrong.

Anyhoo I've always felt the reason why they never solved a lot of these cases of the young girls disappearing from the Interstate 80 corridor in California was their decision to focus their investigation on Tim Bindner.

Bindner was certainly a strange duck but for all their years of trying to link him with these abductions they haven't been able to pin a single thing on the man leading many to believe that Bindner is just an eccentric who had nothing to do with the crimes themselves but indulges in a fascination in the events that surrounded them.

From watching the segments on the abductions I've come to the conclusion that if the abductions of Michaela Joy Garecht, Amber Swartz and the other girls are linked it would not link them to Bindner (who I don't believe is a strong suspect) but to the man seen abducting Garecht. If this is the case I firmly believe that all of these girls (Michaela included) are dead.

I doubletaked at it myself, wondering if you'd ditched Terri Welles already in favor of an avatar championing yourself. BTW, I've seen that picture before and always found it amusing that Kevin Poulsen smiled so enthusiastically for a mug shot. Tom DeLay tried that last year.
