Cripple for the way it makes you walk. You know I couldn't wait to turn 21 so I could try Ripple, and when I did in '83 they stopped making it.

"Champipple" got its name in the third season episode where Carol (the saleslady) and Donna had dinner w/fred on the same night. Here's what Fred said to Lamont about it: "...it's really ginger ale and Ripple.......I call it 'champipple.'"

I'm partial to flapple myself...from the episode "Pops N Pals" when Julio takes Fred and Lamont to a Mexican restaurant. Julio offers Fred sangria, and Fred takes a sip. Fred asks what is sangria, to which Julio says, "It means blood". Fred does a spit take, then Julio tells him it's just a name, because of the color. Fred tries it again and says, "It takes like ripple that's gone flat. I think I'll call it flapple." :lol: I may be partial to this one because it's a Julio episode...:eyes:

I guess "MintJipple" doesn't count because it was only in a Grady episode (wild parsley), but that was the most interesting-sounding one to me.

you forgot "Muscatipple".....Muscatel and Ripple.....what Fred and Judy (Lamont's older ex girlfriend) were drinking before Fred comes home drunk and singing.....
