.....he called Willona a diffferent name on purpose? It was funny maybe once or twice, but after that, he got stale and corny. He was better off calling her by her real name. Come to think of it, I don't remember him calling her by her real name.

i agree with you. it's like anything that is funny once in a while, it gets stale...just like bread.

It depends what name he used. There were some names that were funny and others that were unimaginative.

Agreed. Some of the names he used were funnier than others. I also chuckled occasionally at " . . . And YOU TOO, Willona"-lol

Does anyone know if that actor is still alive and/or acting?

I liked it, it was funny and always let you know that there was a rivalry between the two of them. They didn't like each other.

Alderman did call Willona by her real name in his first two appearances, "The Politicians" & "Evans Versus Davis".

I loved how Willona always called him "Balderman Davis". :lol: I think she enjoyed baiting him even more than Bookman!! I think Willona, deep down, liked Bookman as a person but hated Alderman Davis...just like the Evans family (except for James) did.
