I just posted about my sister who is growing up WAY too fast and it was called, "Is my sister too young to know about tihese things? I am really worried about her." And it's been completely erased. What happened to it? I posted it about five minutes ago.

But, it's a serious problem I am dealing with. Where else can I talk about this problem on the internet?:(

you can talk abt this problem without inserting so much stuff. we have talked abt alot of things on this board but we use words in place of words so we don't allow the younger posters to see such words. Don't be so explicit. Just generalize and we will know what it is you are saying.

Janice, the post was WAY inappropriate for this site. You have to think, your sister is 11... well, there are some members here who are in that same age group. If you have an issue that you want to discuss like this, PM somebody or go talk to your parents about it. The post was just way too detailed for a PG13 site.

Okay, to get to the point without being explicit.

My sister is getting TOO mature. She is asking "adult" questions that I am not sure that an eleven year old should be asking. She is also beginning to act in an "adult" manner. What should I do?:(

Is this the same sister that you mentioned was acting too old for her age?(Not the 15 year old sister, though she acts too old for her age as well):(

you need to get your parents involved. Why is there porn available on your t.v. in the first place? have your parents remove the cable or lock it with parental locks. tell them what you have seen. what can you do? it's not your job, it's your parents job. Either they don't see what you see and they should know.

It's not there anymore. This incident took place when I was a teenager and she was about 6, 7, or 8 years old. Now we only have the music channel that does NOT turn into an "adult" channel around midnight.

I'm not sure what your original post was all about but if your younger sis is asking about sex/porn whatever I agree with the others that you need to get your parents involved immediately. Your sisters questions should be answered openly and honestly. It is part of a parents responsibility to talk to their kids about these things. She's at the age now where she needs to learn about this stuff from her parents, not from tv/ internet or whatever.

it's natural and more of a curiosity for young children to look at things that they shouldn't such as porn, porn magazines, dirty mags, R-rated movies, anything that we are told not to watch. So, her being that young and having seen such things may have had an impact on her. If it was just curiosity, no need to bring up past issues like that. but, it obviously sounds like she is being misguided by others and she is easily manipulated. She needs your parents involvement before she ends up pregnant or worse, getting AIDS.
