chipsandsoda 03-24-2006, 01:06 PM I thought some of you might be interested to know, I just recieved all 255 Happy Days episodes, and they are all Original ABC airings. I got them in a trade from somebody who actually knew someone who worked for the ABC Television station. The quality is very good. If anyone is interested, send me a private message, or email me at comeandfindme30@yahoo.com

Hello,
My name is John Parker and I live in Connecticut. My kids absolutley love Happy Days and would go crazy for the episodes after year one. They have watched the 3 DVD's from year one about a million times and are itching for seasons 2-4. My dauthers 11 birthday is next week and I will pay good money if I can get them sent to me on my UPS number. I am really only looking for seasons 2-4 as I thought the series got kind of corny after the boys got out of high school. Is there any chance you can send me seasons 2-4. It would be the best thing my daughter could receive for her birthday. I will give you my UPS number and pay for it COD. My kids favorite episides where the Laverne and Shirley episode, Richie sinking the winning basket and of course the Fonzie Xmas espisode I would do anything for seasons 2-4.

You can forget it, looks like chipsandsoda dsicovered he recieved 255 eps of Happy days from TV LAND instead of ABC-lol That fool hasn;t replied to me yet and it's been almost 2 weeks
ikhuri 04-10-2006, 04:32 PM He hasn't replied to me either, but as for the 255 episodes, he did say that they had a lot of scenes which were cut from syndication, so maybe they're not from TV Land.
Imad

chipsandsoda is a FRAUD
anglemark10 04-10-2006, 11:03 PM I can't say that I'm surprised. All 255 episodes from ABC just seemed too good to be true.

We all fell for it-lol
westiescaptain04 04-11-2006, 10:53 AM I actually sent this guy $20 for a gift for my daughter who is in a wheelchair and the guy (chips and soda) took the money and ran. I felt like it was worth a shot since she loves this series but she is of course broken hearted. I hope the guy or whoever it is gets the worse disease that is know to human kind
westiescaptain04 04-11-2006, 10:56 AM how do you live with yourself. your beyond a scumbag as everyday you begged for the money to be sent and now you are ducking this issue. i will find you you can be sure of that

Sorry to hear that,
dave insinga 04-11-2006, 02:46 PM he got me too
i sent him 20 which cost me 40 western union
he said he sent them out on friday haven't heard from him yet
i had a feeling something was scewy he said he had no id i had to leave a question with western union
dave insinga 04-11-2006, 02:51 PM its not even the money part of i mean im not happy to lose 40 bucks its the whole principle
robyrob 04-11-2006, 02:58 PM i dont know if "chipsandsoda" is a scammer or not, but apparently he HAS logged in since yesterday. I asked about him with a mod on the Trading board and no one was aware of this member being a scammer. Sitcoms Online does NOT condone any selling, and I'm going to request that he resolve this matter ASAP, perferrably to refund the money to the buyers in question here, and refrain from any selling in the future.
If Chipsandsoda is NOT a scammer, he would do well to contact these individuals ASAP and either return the money he received or make some other arrangement to satisfy anyone that has sent him money. There is still an option of filing a post office grievance for theft by mail here.
dave insinga 04-11-2006, 03:13 PM i feel stupid because i fell for this scam artist but he can still make good
for this thank you for your input

I'm putting in a request that chipsandsoda be banned
dave insinga 04-11-2006, 09:46 PM but the damage has already been done to me i just hope he didn't get too many others
its really hurtful when you trust someone and they play on things people really love(happy days)
something should be done.
robyrob 04-11-2006, 10:05 PM i think that this guy is a repeat offender here - it looks like he ripped people off under the names Urkel_2003 and classictv http://sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=139567
i think that the lesson learned here is that if you are asked to send a Western Union payment, or it seems to good to be true - it's probably a scam
dave insinga 04-11-2006, 10:17 PM but when you are scaming someone it usually is alot more money to think what this little twit would go through for a lousy 20 bucks is this like worth it
maybe he works for western union
dave insinga 04-11-2006, 10:18 PM be for he screws someone else
anglemark10 04-11-2006, 11:36 PM I guess I know, now, why he never responded to me - I only offered to trade, not buy.
savageamusement 04-12-2006, 10:06 AM Whenever we ban a member who is found to be a scammer, they quite often come back
Case in Point
The user ChipsNSoda was banned last night for scamming behaviour.
The name used for the account was Andrew Turpa
the funds were sent by WesternUnion
his e-mail address is comeandfindme30@yahoo.com
For those who recognize that name:
That is because he scammed on the net before
They previously went under:
retrofan1982@yahoo.com, drnobelprice@yahoo.com.
Now that this account has been banned chances are a new one will pop up
Fortunately, if you are collecting from Western UNion you NEED ID
So chances are the name will be the same-
PLEASE when entering a trade, for any reason RUN A CHECK
His name was already entrered into the Bad trader list- and Scammer alert.
Why would someone scam for 20.00?
Its quick cash. Asking for twenty, and getting 40 people to offer that, or asking for 100.00 and getting 8 people- its all the same cash.
People are less likely to look for compensation for 20.00
It isn't always worth the time
And people are usually more apt to part with 20.00 than a 100.00
Scamming and Conning has been around forever, in various areas of various trades, hobbies and jobs.
No moderator will ever be able to seek them all out or ban them all we do what we can, which is why we built the list of Bad traders and Scammers.

You can use CONTROL F and serach by name, address, email and so on.
But always!!
Ask questions
Ask the community.
Ask yourself---
The guidelines of if it sounds too good to be true, are often accurate
The guidelines of "if they want quick money, untracible, is often a warning sign
More times than not
And although we don't condone selling or buying, the fact is the ulitmate choice is up to you-
But sales and trades are not that different.
They both take trust, and they both take risk.
So investigate what you can, and be cautious where you can.
If an new information should arise about this particular trader, or any trader you feel should be brought to our attention please contact a moderator
Thanks to people coming forward rather quickly this user name was caught very quickly.
That is exactly why we have built this community.
