Wasn't she suppose to be tough and not let Fred get under her skin? She did save Fred and Lamont from them gangsters in "The Big Party" so why cry after a little insult? In the episode"Aunt Esther meets her Son" Fred called Woody a boozer, and her a loser, and she started crying! She had no comeback!

I remember that, but I think the episode was "Aunt Esther has a Baby." Also later on in the season, Esther was crying over Fred after she bust him upside the head with her purse. I think the episode was called "The Will."

Fred: "Esther is going to have a baby? Forget about a doctor; someone better call a veternarian!"

No, they were getting ready to adopt a son. On the next episode they adopted a 15 or 16 yr old boy named Daniel.
