Brian Damage 03-23-2006, 11:28 PM It's not surprising considering Good Times WAS A SPINOFF! Ireneparalegal 03-23-2006, 11:28 PM It's not surprising considering Good Times WAS A SPINOFF!   MikeLutton 03-24-2006, 01:40 AM Guess that Mystery finally solved about Good times being a maude spinoff or not being1 cause Florida never metiond on maude and maude never metioned on good times kind slilly if u ask me anyway it was great to hear at the tv awards. JJ Looked great Ireneparalegal 03-24-2006, 02:20 AM Guess that Mystery finally solved about Good times being a maude spinoff or not being1 cause Florida never metiond on maude and maude never metioned on good times kind slilly if u ask me anyway it was great to hear at the tv awards. JJ Looked great I wondered abt that quote because it was planned ahead. It was clearly stated that Florida's character on Good Times was the same character as on Maude. I was shocked that it was said only because of the debates we have had here regarding that issue. I guess I would never had paid attention to that detail had we not discussed it here. I was also shocked that John Amos said "Thank You" to Norman Lear even though he had been fired from the show. Brieannas21 03-24-2006, 02:38 AM I wondered abt that quote because it was planned ahead. Even though I didn't see it LOL, I think that John has gotten over the whole thing about being fired. I don't think it hurt his career any. And yes I think Good Times was a spinoff LOL Ireneparalegal 03-24-2006, 02:43 AM Even though I didn't see it LOL, I think that John has gotten over the whole thing about being fired. I don't think it hurt his career any. And yes I think Good Times was a spinoff LOL Yeah, I agree. That's what makes John such a man...he doesn't hold a grudge...he moved on to bigger and better things. LOL at your spin-off statement. Like I said, all those things are carefully written and planned...soooooo, I guess they made it pretty clear. comedyfreak 03-24-2006, 08:06 AM It's not surprising considering Good Times WAS A SPINOFF! Don't let TVresearcher hear you say that, lol. TVFactFan 03-24-2006, 12:08 PM I have some new information from Jan of 74 that will STRENGTHEN my argument of Good Times not being a spinoff.
