It comes back on Tonight at 11pm your time. John Amos said just like he did on Good Times, I wasn't expecting that at all,

I got to see the first hour of it, and taped the other since I had to go to work. It was great! The only disappointment was that, they didn't have Julie Newmar go up on stage with West and Ward. I did see the skit with JJ in the O.R. that was funny.

I was glad when John spoke up. JJ was hogging the microphone and I wanted to hear from the others.

Good times and the Dallas awards were the best. But it seems so rushed to not let a group of people say alot more. It was too rushed for me. It seems the people who got "lesser" awards had more screen time.

As for Julie Newmar, did anyone notice when Adam and Burt were leaving the podium and the camera panned over to the audience, Julie just sat there with this stern look on her face and wasn't clapping while everyone else was?

I know. Like i said, for myself just seeing the Good Times cast and Dallas cast, that was it for me. I mean, the awards show has never been so good that I would want to watch the entire thing. From the first awards show, it seemed too looney, almost like a "joke" award.

I was really surprised and laughing when John said, "Shut up, JJ"-lol. Very good timing by Amos. I taped it mainly to see the GT cast.

I thought it was hilarious.Jimmie was running his mouth too much and John said the right thing.One thing I noticed is that Jimmie seemed to be bigger than John.

I only watched part of the Soul Train Awards last year. Nothing else.

I finally saw it last night, I turned it on right when they were showing clips of GT's and they announced the cast of GT's. John telling Jimmie to shut up was cute. I don't think Ralph looked bad at all, he looked good.
