For those of you who don't recognize the name she's the 8 1/2 month pregnant woman who disappeared along with her young son. She was married and by all accounts they were a happy family. Cecelia got a call shortly before she disappeared from an unknown female saying she had a photo of Al (her husband) kissing another woman at a baby shower. Cecelia agreed to see the photo. Than shortly after that I believe another unknown woman (maybe the same one, I don't know) called and claimed she was from Al's work and they were going to have a baby shower for him and she wanted Cecelia to come and pick out a piece of baby furniture (I'm assuming from her home) to give to them. Cecelia was to meet with the lady she disappeared. Also Al said he received a letter from Cecelia saying that she had met someone with more money and he was the father of her unborn child. In Cecelia's vehicle was found a generic goodbye card and Cecelia's wedding rings.

This one is really baffling. It seems very possible that she could have been having an affair and took her son and ran off to be with her wealthy new boyfriend who was also the baby's father. But they did say that nothing, not even a toothbrush, was taken which seems to indicate they left abruptly. You can't discount how strange those phone calls were. RS said it was determined that the caller was NOT Al's co-worker like they had claimed. The generic card and ring would normally point to the husband but I felt he really seemed sincere in his interview and I really think he doesn't know what happened to his wife. Its much too big of a coincidence though that she was too meet this unknown woman the same day she disappeared. Another theory to throw out there was that Al could have been having an affair and the other woman did something to Cecelia and her son to get them out of the picture.

Any theories?

i tend to think the husband knows more than he's letting on....his apparent lack of concern or urgency when she first went missing doesnt make sense, especially given how close she was to having their child....

i suspect he was having an affair and you may be right that the "other" woman took it upon herself to try and get Cecelia, her son and her unborn child out of the picture...i certainly dont buy the notion that she ran off...that would have been completely contrary to her character and her love for her husband, according to those who knew her..
