According to Pavanbadal, Bewitched will leave TV Land May 31 when the contract expires. Sad news. Personally, I don't think it will be off the air for long ---- It went from Nick@Nite -> Hallmark|Odyssey -> TV Land. Wasn't off the air for very long inbetween those times. What does everyone else think?

I personally don't care, cause I have season 1, 2, and I'm going to get season 3 this week. I can see them anytime I want, but I don't mind watching when it is shown on tv. I'm just not trippin' anymore. I use to get upset and bombard the stations with complaints. Now since dvd, who needs them.

Well I guess I will break down and buy the DVD's.-the Dick York years anyways.I agree the show will likely pop up somewhere else.I love the show though and I'm sorry they won't be airing it on T.V Land but that channel is rather fickle.:(

....TV LAND DID pull it off this week [May 22-26]. Their contract with Sony Pictures Television to show it is indeed up, and who knows where "BEWITCHED" will turn up next?

I think agmfox is on to something, I have talked with others that have mentioned the same thing. It'd be great for them to have a 'classic' morning lineup like this:

7:00AM The Rockford Files
8:00AM The Beverly Hillbillies
8:30AM The Beverly Hillbillies
9:00AM Happy Days
9:30AM Happy Days
10:00AM Bewitched
10:30AM Bewitched
11:00AM I Dream of Jeannie
11:30AM I Dream of Jeannie

...IF you could convince WGN to obtain the rights to schedule those shows from NBC/Universal, VIACOM, and Sony Pictures Television. However, WGN seems to have their own programming ideas right now.......

That's an excellent point, comedyfreak. Who needs to find out what was 'cut' in the syndication prints anyway? Bewitched is an excellent show, don't get me wrong but buying the season sets on DVD makes it even better now that you can watch it whenever and as often as you like!

I have bought the first two seasons of "Bewitched" on DVD for a friend of mine for Christmas (B/W) versions but it's a toss-up whether to get the third season or "That Girl" that just came out a couple weeks ago.

Hopefully I'll get my own set of "Bewitched" at a later time.

But not everyone can buy the DVDs. :( I wish they would make two TVLand stations. Kinda like MTV branched into 2 networks. Anyway... one for the older classics like Lucy, Bewitched, The Munsters, etc. and one for the newer ones: 1970s-1980s or something. I know it sounds stupid, but maybe then they could fit in more shows.

I have a Question? When will Sony release Season 4 of Bewitched?
