How long was the show on TV? It seems to me that it took those kids a lot longer than 4 years to graduate from high school, and I doubth they where all Freshmen in that first season!

The show ran for 5 seasons. So it took these genius' an entire year longer than the average student to graduate.

Well it ran for 5 years, but the funny thing was that they were all seniors during the first season.

How did you find out that the kids were seniors the first season? You might have a point. The character Dennis (in ep 4) was talking about his life 20 years from the present time. He said he was 38 years old. I guess since it's a T.V. show, its intention is to get laughs, but creators and producers need to be aware that people do observe things like that.

Actually, I was watching an interview with Robin Givens.....lifetime channel, well she said that it was time to move on from HOTC, they were seniors for 5 years.
