I never have, I saw this at ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/THE-MUNSTERS-ON-GILLIGANS-ISLAND-1987-SCREENPLAY_W0QQitemZ7600802311QQcategoryZ18833QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I wonder if this is real. I doubt it since Jim Backus was so sick in 1981 when they did the first movie. I guess Thurston Howell the 4th would have been in it again. There are a lot of things I wonder about this like there is three copies of it and how I have never seen one single thing about this. It is possible but I don't know why I never heard of this. I might have to get a copy because I am really wondering about this.

Sounds awfully suspect. The title is Munsters on GI then goes on to call it the fourth GI movie. As you say, I find it hard to believe something like this wouldn't have been heard of before

especially by any of us, and we are all experts.

I am thinking of asking Sherwood Schwartz about this.

If you think there's a glimmer of truth in it, give the seller a few choice questions and see how the answers hold up.

I am going to. If they had a bad rating I don't think I would, but they got 100% for a rating.

The concept does sound kind of familiar somehow, but I think it was one of those things that was probably best left unmade. :)

And a Universal / Warner collaboration doesn't sound feasible either
