View Full Version : Post Your All-Time Favorite Episode Here! Brett Ferino 09-22-2000, 03:28 PM What is your all time favorite episode of Caroline in the City so far and why? Jordan 02-18-2001, 04:54 PM I don't know what the title of the episode is, but this is what happens: A famous restaurant names a sandwich after Caroline, and the person who it used to be named after isn't too thrilled. They create a public feud that makes Caroline's squeaky-clean image look bad. factsoflife 04-26-2001, 04:28 PM jordan, i LOVE that episode it is soooo funny! but my fave one and i don't know why is the one when del gets circumsized just to date a girl that only dates jewish men! Ilovelea 03-24-2002, 05:28 PM Hey! my favourite episode was when Caroline and Richard first get together coz its sooooooo funny! but i love all the episodes and i have seen them all about twice or 3 times im addicted!:D Jordan 03-24-2002, 07:48 PM Originally posted by Ilovelea i love all the episodes Me too! :happyface :happyface :happyface Ilovelea 03-25-2002, 04:08 PM Originally posted by Jordan Me too! :happyface :happyface :happyface I think that they r all special in their own little ways and i will be very sad wen they arent on any more! i think i will cry! il have nothing to do with my time! i know it might sound sad but my whole lief evoles round Lea Thompson! shes very special! ~Sitcom*Sweetheart~ 07-27-2002, 07:11 PM My favorite episode is... I record all the episodes of Caroline in the City that I can, and For The People. I do have to add one more episode to my favorites list... "Caroline and the Singer" ...that song was so pretty, if only Caroline had known Richard wrote it. BonniesLilCutiePie 11-17-2002, 03:25 PM it is safe to say that my world revolves around Lea Thompson. I record EVERY single episode of For The People and Caroline In The City! :D :D catlover79 11-11-2007, 12:17 AM I really enjoyed the episode where David Hyde Pierce guest stars as a CPA who wants to break into show biz. His 9 to 5 dance number was a scream!! Another favorite of mine is when Trevor cheats on Caroline, she dumps him and ends up drunk at Richard's apartment, where she pours out her heart to him. He lets her sleep on the bed and he lies down on the floor - only to be awakened by her snoring!! waichingliu81 11-11-2007, 10:43 AM My favorite episode is... "Caroline and the Love that must not be named" or something like that. It was sweet and funny all in one. And Annie's big mouth never gets old! The letter, the message... it was titled: caroline and the love that dare not speak its name and yeah, that was a good ep :) waichingliu81 11-11-2007, 10:47 AM I really enjoyed the episode where David Hyde Pierce guest stars as a CPA who wants to break into show biz. Thanks! The eps were great! :D waichingliu81 11-11-2007, 02:55 PM i don't have a favourite but i loved caroline and the bullfighter in season 3, caroline and the proposal, caroline and the condom, caroline and the watch in season 1, caroline and the first date, caroline and the big night, caroline and the firing squad of season 4 and caroline and the freight king and the perfect record in season 2 leathompsonfan1 11-11-2007, 06:46 PM "Caroline And The Movie" and "Caroline And The Proposal" are two of my favorite "CITC" episodes. Smartboy 12-01-2007, 09:57 PM If I had to pick one episode that was my absolute "favorite" I would have to go with "Return of Sudsey Guy". Even though I posted a message in regards to this episode a while back, I think that it deserves a repraise. To start with, I like any episode in which the character of Caroline wears jeans or slacks. This is because I think that she has just about the sexiest rear in creatrion! Wow! In this episode, Caroline, her regular gang and her friend Randy from back in Wisconsen, were in her living room while "Funky Town" was playing on the radio. It put Caroline and Randy in the mood and they started to dance the way that the did when they were teenagers. After doing some fancy arm and leg movements, Caroline bent down so that her butt was the highest extremity of her body. She then managed to jiggle her but while it was still in the air. Seeing someone with as much decency as Lea Thompson do something as sexy as this "really" filled me up! If this series ever comes out on DVD, I will pay top dollar for season four just to see that episode again! waichingliu81 12-03-2007, 01:28 PM If I had to pick one episode that was my absolute "favorite" I would have to go with "Return of Sudsey Guy". I remember previous posts by the English woman that responded to my most recent post. The fact that we have such different points of view in regards to "Return of Sudsy Guy" could be blamed on anything ranging from sex, ethnicity, age or anything else. In any event, althouth I do not know what season my second favorite episode is, I know that in it, Caroline pokes her head in the front door of her own apartment and sings the first couple of verses of "Deck the Halls". I think that she has a "lovely" voice! As some of you probably know, there is a web site called "90 Faces of Lea Thompson". On this site, I am the most recent person to sign her guest book and post on her message board. In any event, in celebration of the holidays, she is wearing a "very" cute Christmas hat! If you look at my last message on the guest book, you will see that I wrote about how her in that hat brings back "so" many fond memories of her singing for the enjoyment of us and Richard! waichingliu81 12-16-2007, 09:29 AM Because of how seldom people post on this page, I am posting this message mainly in an attempt to get the ball rolling again. Richard: "I hate my life." Then the car breaks down. waichingliu81 12-16-2007, 05:47 PM I like the episode where Caroline and Richard were in the car and she was reciting her old high school cheer, "We got the coach, we got the team, we got the coach, we got the team..." Richard: "I hate my life." Then the car breaks down. oh yeah, that was funny. it was from the episode 'caroline and the critics' from season 2, its actually one of my favourite episodes from CITC. there were so many funny moments in that one Smartboy 10-27-2008, 12:46 AM In the hour or so since I brought the last thread up to the top, I went to the pages of all of the other sereis that I have any interest in. There does not seem to be too much new stuff on any of it. Because of this, I am now bringing this one to the top to see if I can stimulate some conversation. Smartboy 11-24-2008, 12:58 AM What is your all time favorite episode of Caroline in the City so far and why? I am wondering if bringing this post to the top might stimulate some conversation on a page that seems as dead as this one! Smartboy 02-04-2009, 08:49 PM What is your all time favorite episode of Caroline in the City so far and why? Because I was not successful in stimulating any conversation with the thread that I started two nights ago, I am seeing what I can do by bringing this one back to the top. Also, there is one thing that I cannot stress too much to anyone who has read my last post! If you are able and willing to upload onto "Youtube" the scene that I wrote about, I would be very greatful! Smartboy 03-06-2009, 11:41 PM What is your all time favorite episode of Caroline in the City so far and why? The first thing that I would be interested in feedback regarding is the starter of this thread. Do any of you know anything about him or her? I cannot help but wonder what he or she could have done that was so terrible that they got banned from this site! On top of this, it seems that the views of the posts on this page are picking up a little bit. I started a thread less than a day ago and it already has seven views! Because of this, I have decided to bring this thread to the top. I would be very interested in what other peoples' favorite episodes are! the legend 03-15-2009, 07:36 PM One of my favourites was "Caroline and the letter" and the following: I don´t know the episode´s title anymore but there was this scene where Richard walks into Carolines appartement, undresses his jacket,Caroline asks him something about wanting a " in vitro fertilization " and needing him for this or so and in the same second, without a comment Richard took his jacket again and walked out of the door. Best scene ever! catlover79 03-15-2009, 09:32 PM ^ I think I remember that scene. Richard took sarcasm to a whole new level!! Smartboy 11-15-2009, 01:50 AM Thoughout this evening, I have been doing my best to stimulate some conversation by starting new threads and bringing old ones to the tops of pages. So far, I have only managed to generate one response. This was on the "Gimme a Break!" page. I wonder what will happen after I raise this one! sh3k 03-09-2011, 06:51 PM it is safe to say that my world revolves around Lea Thompson. I record EVERY single episode of For The People and Caroline In The City! :D :D oh man thanks i am searching this one and found it here finally thank you so much Schmoopie 10-02-2012, 12:17 AM So far my favorite is "Caroline and the Cat Dancer" but I also love "Caroline and the Bad Back." both of these feature David Hyde Pierce in case you were wondering! |
