These little ones were born in The Sichuan Wolong Panda Protection and Breed Center in Southern China
The zoo artificially inseminated 38 females. These were the first 16 born and include 5 sets are twins. The others were due later in the fall.
The cubs are weighed and measured every five days by a special panda nurse.The heaviest tips the scale at just over 24 pounds, while the lightest weighs about 11 pounds.

I live near the National Zoo in D.C. and they are always talking about the new baby panda that was born there last year. Sometimes its more panda news than regular news.

Awwwwwwwwww.... I love pandas!! They are my favorite animals.... I actually got a glimpse of them sleeping at the San Diego Zoo in July 2002!!! They were just the sweetest babies!! I just wanna pick one up and squeeze it!! They are just so adorable !*swoons* :biglove:

I've seen this adorable collection of pandas on the news!!! It's hard to imagine anything any cuter!!! :)
